**02-14-08 Kellie Pickler/Trace Adkins Concert Review-Saginaw, Mich(Dow Event Center)

Here's my review!!

I arrived at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw, Michigan at 3:30 to see if I could get my M&G tickets, but they said to come back about 6:00 and they would probably know something. My grandma and I headed to Denny's Restuarant to eat for dinner while we waited. We left Denny's about 4:45 and got back to the Event Center at 5:00. When we walked in the door there were alreay 30 people in front of us, but that was okay. I went over to get my M&G tickets and the lady said that she just needed my photo ID and I received 2 M&G tickets. At 5:30, we were all huddled in a large room with white circular tables and the first 98 people received a Valentine's card. The man said that if you opened your card before instructed you were disqualified. After about 20 minutes, we were told to get in a single-file line and to pick out a candy kiss out of a bucket and if you got a red one, you got Trace Adkins M&G tickets! The two ladies in front of us got the Trace Adkins M&G tickets! The woman behind us paid one of her friends $100 to get a M&G ticket with her friend! That was crazy!!! About 10 minutes later, we could open our Valentine's cards that we received when we walked in, and if your card had Trace's autograph, you got Trace Adkins backstage passes!!! Only 3 cards had Trace's autograph... 10 minutes later everyone got in a line on the right side and got to pick a conversation heart and if it was purple (Kellie's favorite color) heart, you got Kellie Pickler backstage passes for after the show! Then everyone that had M&G tickets/stickers got to go in and had to follow a lady with angel wings on at 6:30 to go see Kellie. My grandma and I were the second to last ones in line and I got a picture of Kellie coming in the door to where the M&G was. She is sooo cute!! haha When I got to talk to her, another fan that had something for her, asked me if I could give it to her and I said that I would. I gave her from the fan that wasn't able to a jar of creamy Jiffy peanut butter (new latest obsession) and a spoon! I gave her a box that I had constructed as an English project and inside were 2 small bags of Sour Patch Kids inside. She turns to me with a smile and says: "Gee, she's tryin' to fatten me up!" and then she laughs and hugs me and then we get our picture taken. She signs my M&G sticker, my CD, and my red high heeled shoes. Afterwards, I tried to take a picture of her tour bus, but it was really dark outside, so I don't think that the pictures turned out very good. After trying to take the picture, we headed up for the front to get our autograph pictures, I got a black shirt that had her pictures on it and her tour locations. I also got my mom a Trace Adkins shirt because she wasn't able to come. We finally made it to our seat and we had to cross the whole venue to get to our seat. Middle Front Right section, Row 8, Seats 6 and 7 were our seats. I can still hear the music playing in my ears! haha!

The songs that Kellie sang were (and not in any specific order): Gotta Keep Movin', Things That Never Cross A Man's Mind, Didn't You Know How Much I Love You, One Of The Guys, I Wonder, 9 to 5, Small Town Girl, Red High Heels and before she sang Red High Heels, she got a gift from a man and inside of it was a little stuffed giraffe! She said: "When I was a young girl, I asked my grandma and my grandpa if I could have a giraffe; I never wanted a cat, dog, fish, or hampster, I have just always wanted a giraffe and now I have one. Thanks, so much; it's soo sweet." Then after her show she got a rose from a young girl.

The songs that Trace sang were (and not in any specific order): Chrome, All American Man, Don't Miss This (new single), Every Light In The House Is On, Honky Tonk Badonkadonk (love that song), and some that I know I'm missing but I can't remember!!
