A few early posts on the Flatts message board about the concerts in New Hampshire and NYC. There had been positive and negative comments before the tour started about Kellie opening for them, but the early comments are all good. I haven't seen a negative one yet. The one about lip-synching is good because he said she sounded perfect. No way was she lip-synching. Here's what I have so far:

Kelly Pickler was so good, considering her "bombing" on American Idol. I knew 3 of her songs from listening to the radio on the internet cause i don't have a country station.

so later after were sitting for a while kellie pickler comes on and sings i wonder, small town girl, things that never cross a mans mind, 9 to 5 (dolly parton song) and red high heels. yep! and she sits on the edge of the stage and starts shakin hands with everyone and stuff. i think she was lip synching ebcause she sounded like perfect you know? but thats ok because its been 2 months since seh performed so yeah.

OMG! What an amazing night! Kellie Pickler was good (loved her shoes and got a picture of them).

Kelly Pickler: She was great and so sweet. She would just come and shake your hand, and at one point sat on the edge of the stage and sang while shaking everyones hand, taking pictures while performing.

She was great! Couldn't hear her at first but then they turned down her mic or something so we could understand her. She was so cute, had the cutest shoes haha...She grabbed my hand about 3 times.

I almost left out Kellie. I don’t know all her songs very well though, and I’m also a very big closet Jason Aldean fan, but I think Kellie did a good job. I also really like her shoes.

Kellie Pickler was great! She was entertaining and emotional. She's so cute, too!

Wow...I was there and Kellie was definitely NOT lip-sycning. Wow that just offended me. haha But seriously, when does Kellie ever lip sync?

I think he was paying her a compliment. I don't think he meant it literally, but that's just my read of his comment.

I am also a part of Rascal Flatts fan club and I just want to say how welcoming everyone is to Kellie being the opener. There have been a few people not happy about it but you're going to have that everywhere. I love Kellie and can't wait to see her next month with Rascal Flatts

He definitely meant it literally. The next sentence says that he's thinks it's ok that that she was lip-syncing since it's been a couple months since she performed (like she had an excuse). Regardless, it's nice that she sang so well that she made people think she was lip-syncing. I remember some people saying the same thing when she was on the Brad tour last year.

what is lip syncing i know i sound stupid but i dont even know what that is but i do know kellie is the real thing and shes always perfact

Lip syncing in when you aren't really singing, you are just mouthing the words and your recorded voice is being played.

But Kellie sings great live and doesn't need to do that.
