OK sooo I have to start off by saying last night was probably the most amazing night for me. I don't think anything will be able to top that...ever. lol Sorry but I need to write a novel.
OK soooo first off my friend Jessy picked me up around 4:45 p.m. to go to the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH. We wanted to get there early because I had signed up for the meet & greet and had just found out Monday that I was added to the meet & greet list. So we go there around 5:00 p.m. and went to the box office. Wow what an experience that was...
We went up to the lady and I told her that I was on the list for the meet & greet and I gave her my name. She said something like, "You're on the meet & greet list? You seem a little unsure." Great night so far...was I just accused of lying? haha Anyways...I gave her my ID and she flipped through some envelopes and found it. I was soooo relieved when she pulled it out. She ripped it open and gave me the envelope. I look inside and there's only 1 pass even though the e-mail stated that I would be left with 2. The lady was like, "There's nothing I can do about it. There's nobody I could contact." So me and Jessy just left and walked around for a while and I was sooooo stressed because I thought she wasn't going to be able to go in with me. I definitely didn't want to go in by myself!
We got back to the arena around 6ish and stood in line. The instructions that came with the pass said the meet & greet was inside at 6:30 but I had no clue where to go. Jessy saw some people and 1 of them was holding a pickle sign. Jessy was like, "Those have to be Kellie fans!" So we walked up to them because we saw them coming out of the box office and thought they had meet & greet passes but they didn't. But it did turn out to be Bri (lilMCpickler78) and her mom! Aww they were so nice! So me and Jessy went to the box office and went back to the same lady. I thought 1 might be under Jessy's name since I included her name in the e-mail. She gave her ID to the lady...but no luck.
Then Jessy thought the envelope had said my name +1 so the lady looks at the envelope and was like, "Oh yeah. It does." So she just gave us the envelope and said to show Kellie's manager. So she told us to go to the last door because they would be letting us in. Of course they only opened the doors at 7 when everyone started going in.
We were first in line so we got in right away.
Not like I wasn't stressed already...but a security guard made me give them my gifts for Kellie because I couldn't take them in. She said they would get to her. I hope they did. That made me soooo mad because I worked hard putting everything together and I wanted to give it to Kellie personally. Oh well...
So then me and Jessy head up to section 105 where everyone for the meet & greet was supposed to go. I was sooo nervous that I would have to go by myself. lol But we asked one of the people in charge of it. I showed them the envelope and he said as long as I had mine on we could both go in!!!!!!
It wasn't long and then we were taken back in to a little room. There were only about 12 people for Kellie's meet & greet. We waited for about 5 or 10 minutes and then Kellie walked in!!!! OMG I thought that wasn't even happening...after several times of going to her concert but not getting to meet her or not being able to go to a concert at all...reading sooo many reviews on KellieFans about amazing concerts and meeting Kellie...I finallyyyyy got to meet my favorite idol!!!! I thought I was going to look like an idiot and not know what to say. haha When it was my turn, I had her sign my CD cover that I brought with me and told her that I was a Kellie Bean and she got like so excited. haha Then I took a pic with her and asked her if she had received her birthday gift from us! Then she started talking about the chair!!! haha She said she hasn't had a chance to see it in person because she hasn't been home in a while and has been really busy but she said her friends sent her a picture of it!
Soooo then I asked her to do something for everyone at KellieFans...this is for everyone but mostly the people who helped out with the birthday project last year.
I wasn't even planning on getting that but I thought of it at the last minute!!! So I said I can't wait to see the show, gave her a hug, and then left. OMG she is sooooo nice. Like that was the best night ever.
So when me and Jessy got outside of the meet & greet I started flipping out. haha And then we called some people because I couldn't wait and I was too busy texting to even let my mom know where I was. I think she called me 5 times. lol
So when the show started...omg I was SO excited. Kellie had on a really cute purple top, jean, and the cutest silver heels!!!! She came out singing Gotta Keep Moving and other songs she sang were (not in any specific order), Things That Never Cross A Man's Mind, Small Town Girl, 9 to 5, I Wonder, Red High Heels, and some others. I saw Kellie at the idol tour and then another time but last night was definitely the best of the 3!!!
Rascal Flatts put on an incredible show, too!!!!!!!!!! They're one of my favorites and I knew they were going to be good live but wow...I never thought they'd be that good! Their set was amazing. They opened with Me and my Gang. OMG that was soooo exciting. lol They sang all of them well-known songs and a bunch of others. It was a great show overall!!
So yeah...sorry that was so long. I didn't want to leave out anything.
