HEY GUYS!!!!!
WOW!!! That only begins to describe what a day we had yesterday!!! I'll try to recap it all fromthe beginning!!!
Brandy and her mom Pauline arrive to Albemarle late Sunday evening. We talk and then she heads off to bed.
Monday, Brandy and mom come by the shop to say hello and they go all around town, I'll let her fill you in on that!!! Then later that night we go out t eat together at JD Shuckes!! Fun!
Tuesday morning we head out about 9:00 am. We ge to Raleigh about 11:30am. We then wlk around the fair for a little while and then decide to find out exactly where theArena is and see what we cn find out. When we go over to the arena we dscovered that Kellie's bus was there!! YEAH!!! We were excited!! There were a few ther people there waiting too. Wes came out a couple of times and finallyI said, "Wes" and he looked at Brandy and I, wecalled him over to ask him if we could getmeet ad greets and he told us that she would be out shortly, he had to wake her up at 1:00pm.
So we waited patiently, ad met one of her band members, Josh, he was really cool. Hetalked to us for a little bit and we fnally asked to take a picture with him and he said sure, no problem! then aroun 2:15 - 2:30 Kellie came off of the bus and everyone was SO excited!!
he came over to us and everyone just looked at her like, DUhhhhh..... then she said, do you guys want me to sign something? It was kinda of funny because everyone was just so star struck, and someone asked about pictures and she said sure! While she was signing something she glanced up and saw a "mascot" off of one of the disney shows and FREAKED OUT!! She yelled "Get that thin away from me!"" we were like what??? She said that thing, thatmascot, get it away, I'm terrified of tos things!!" Bless her heart she was shaking SO bad she couldn't hardly sign the autograph. i held up a piece of paper and said Kellie don't look at it, it's going away, it's ok.. she finally calmed down but it really shook her up. While she was signing stuff, i said "he girl, long time no see" she looked up and smied great big and said, "oh my gosh, hey girl and hugged me, i felt so good when she did that, then I looked at Wes and he knew that she knew me. We chatted for a second and then Brandy got an autograph and pictures. I didn't even geta picture then, but i wanted everyone else to get a chance to have their picture made, especially Brandy and her mom. Then Wes told her that they had to go do te radio interview, so they lft in an ugly dirty old white car??? They were gone for a while. We went to get something to eat during that time. Later on after she came back sh was on he bus and peeked out (picture below). I later sawSummer and her mom and dad come up. While we were sitting waiting, we met this wonderful man, Gordon!!! He was so sweet!! He had a lt of pictures of Kellie from a previous concert that he gave to Gregg. Gregg came out and talked with us for a while and took picture too. He was really nice too! I have some pictures of Gordon giving Gregg the photos that he had taken. We hung around a bit longer and then I went around the ther side of the bus and when Summer came out of the bus fro her visit wih Kellie, I yelled out "Hey smmr, -mom name and - dad name" She turned an looked and waved real big, but then they motioned her on in. Oh i almost forgot!!!! While we were standing out waiting by the bus, I saw our local newspaper reporter standing over to the side, s i calledout his name, Jim Lisk, and told him that i had some people for him o met who came allthe way from Missouri. He said i'll be right there!! He came over to us and got their names and all, and then Kelie came back from the radio interview so he yelled out, "Kellie, Jim Lisk needs to talk to you" she stopped and pointed him out to Wes and so he went in and did an interview with her. When he came ff of th bus he showed us a picture of hm kissing her on th cheek!!! and then he finished his interview with us. So be on the lookout for Brandy, her mom, Gordon and I to be in the StanlyNews & Press!!! Hopefully!! I'lll let you know!!!
We then went on in to find our seats ad seeif we could meet up with anyone else we knew, adn sure enough we did! Mike, Clay, Brandy, Allison(from NC) Shannon all did meet andthat Jim and Robrt were there as well. It was pretty cool!
As for the concert!!! Oh my word!!! It was GREAT!!! i thin thtKellie was so at ease fr it to be her own concert and no one elses. She did great. I can't remember the order of the songs but I did try to get pictures but it was way to dark and I was to far back, in the corn section on the floor. i did get a little video. the security came up to me and old meto sit down! I was in peoples way! I got a little frustrated at that becaue, we were at a concert!!! but oh well!! Anyway, we enjoyed it!! after one of the songs Kellie was joking about er tight jeans and was having a hard tim getting up off f the floor of the stage where she had sat down to sing a song, thenshe started to tlking about a "smiley face butt" yes, that's right. She aid, you know how when you sit and you start to sweat and it makes those little shapes on your jeans and it looks like a smiley face!"" I just died laughing!! It was hillarious!!!
Afterwards, we were waiting for an encore performance song, and people started leaving! We went to th front to get some better pictures when se came out.
then we went outside after that and fially found where she was signing at. She signed at her merchandise table!! Just food for thought if you go to a concert!
while in line we talked to a bunch of people, and Gordon was in front of us. Then someone came out and said that she was only going to dot for another 30 minutes!! We flipped out!! Oh no!! and ht's when Gordon got worried, and Brny's mom reassured him andsaid, "have faith". well sure enough we made it through and we all got our autographs and pictures. While in line waiting though, I saw Summer sitting on the table behind Kellie so i called to her quietly and she came over and talked to us and Brandy and her mom got to meet her and get picturs with her too. Afte the signing, I talked to Summer a little more, and then we were all walking on a cloud!!! i was so happyfor Gordon!!! and everyone else!! As we wlked back to our cars, we couldn't stop smiling and talking about what had happened all day!!
Well that's my day at the fair!! hope you got a little taste of what we had!!!
