Steve,I'm staring to make some classic sci-fi sigs to put up,is there any certain film that you really like? I'm making a War Of The Worlds for me,I love the original. Have you ever seen The Time Machine with Rod Taylor? I could watch that every single day.

i think the last time i watched "THE TIME MACHINE"...gosh i had to be like 12 or 13 years old!!! it was WAY back during the Friday Fright Night days. Good movie.
My 2 all-time favorite sci-fi movies are "THE THING" and "THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL."
If you have'nt seen "THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL", you should. it's a pretty dang gone good movie.

The Day The Earth Stood Still recently came on my favorite movie channel and I was going to record it and missed it!!!! If it's as good as you say,I might have to throw a few bucks away for the DVD. I really like the old sci-fi. Have you seen Creature From The Black Lagoon? That one seems to be very famous. It looks kinda creepy.

I have seen the creature from the Black Lagoon! You'll just have to see that one. The Creature is so....well, definitely low tech!

Also, the Thing (the original one) is great. The cute girl in it is called Nikki as I recall. Another plus. LOL

Oh good! I was just wondering last night what happened to the little animation project!

I just did a signature for Emily (kelliedawnpicklerfan) but she can't seem to figure out how to put it on. She wants me to log on as her and do it for her but I'm trying to figure out some other way.

This is getting very frustrating! She doesn't seem to know how to copy and paste into her notebook.

How in the world did i forget to mention "THE CREATURE!!" He was my favorite monster when i was a kid. i have the 3 movie dvd box set. the 2nd sequel is my favorite; "THE CREATURE WALKS AMONG US." Have you seen that 1 Nikki?
Judy....if you buy "THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL" you won't be wasting your money.I promise. It's a smart sci-fi movie. Not just a cheesy movie about aliens coming to earth to kill us all and take over. It has a message.

yep...her name was Nikki.
One other thing about "BLACK LAGOON." Clint Eastwood makes one of his early screen appearances in the 2nd "CREATURE" movie...."REVENGE OF THE CREATURE."
