I've been thinking, and maybe each member could name up to five different stars per week, and everyone could try to see at least one movie for one of the stars, and then post back in a review on the film... maybe?
If anybody would like to do this here is my list for this week:
Rock Hudson
Doris Day
Cary Grant
Katharine Hepburn
Ginger Rogers
For those who would like to play the little game,I'm so excited about reading your choice of stars!

Yes,I agree. When it comes to male crooners,Dean Martin is on the top of my list. Sinatra was a great actor,but I've never seen where his singing is so great. Oh,and I saw The Tender Trap on TCM channel,and if that's where you watched it,that film Arabesque with Peck and Loren is coming on soon. Here are the times {Eastern}
11/21/2006 6 p.m.
11/27/2006 11 p.m.
12/31/2006 1:30 p.m.
I love Greg. What's your favorite of all his movies? I love Roman Holiday,Arabesque, and am excited about seeing Designer Woman with Lauren Bacall.

Dean Martin is definately best crooner of them all.
Yep,that would the channel i saw the Tender Trap on,and thanks for those times.Looking foward to seeing it.
My all time favorite Gregory Peck movie is definately,To Kill A Mocking Bird,he was brillant in that movie.
Designer Woman sounds like something i may have to watch, the title just speaks to me for some reason.

Welcome to the club, Shellie! And Judy, I will try to work on the GWTW project today. I want to get at least one more photo done up. Possibly two.
I am going to be watching King Kong soon and I will comment about that. I mean the old, original one with Faye Wray.

Ok. I saw some of KK once, but wasn't crazy about it...I don't like violence, though it really isn't violent at all,it still has a flair of violence to it. It's really funny,I can't watch King Kong, but I can watch Rambo over and over again! {I guess it helps that I love Sly.lol}I'm very eager on hearing about your opinion on KK,Nikki, and also on seeing those blends. I recently got the Day/Hudson film Send Me No Flowers, and so I'll have to post on that soon. I've also been meaning to watch Suspicion and Good News.

I just saw Suspicion with Cary Grant and Joan Fontaine. She won the Best Actress oscar for her role in the film. I loved it! 5 star ratings all around. This film was also a new light for Cary,as he was known for the light comedy roles, such as His Girl Friday and Bringing Up Baby. Suspicion marked his first of his four teamings with dir. Alfred Hitchcock, and showed a darker side to Cary Grant. For anyone who hasn't seen this film,I beg of you to watch it. It's wonderful, and a great mystery.
