You misunderstood me. I don't believe the media is controlled by the government. Except for Fox News,maybe. They'll buy up everything this administration is selling and try to sell it to us. Good news is.....as of November 7th,2006; we are'nt buying it anymore.

Yes, I mis-read the post you've made; however, the media is an excellent indicater of a government turned bad because if they control the media, the newspapers, etc, how you get your information, then they can control you.

Now on Fox News, you have no shred of proof that the government owns it, in fact, if you watched it, it also shows the bad that is going on in Iraq as well as hosts like Bill O'Reilly, Alan Colmes, and liberal guest that disagrees with the administration.

Oh yeah...did you hear that they recently discovered 2 fossils of a pair of "cavemen" in a grave who were embracing each other? And just a couple of days ago...they said evidence showed that "cavemen" were using tools 4,300 years ago?
Yeah....There's a creature still out there. Call it Bigfoot or whatever.
But it's out there. It's just avoiding us.

I know people who get their news from Pat Robertson and the "700 Cub".

On the right-wingers controling the Fox News, you can say that they are a collection of intelligent traditionalists as Bill says but even if they are a rightwing News, it is a COUNTER-BALANCE to the major three left leaning news media with all the other major newspaper wouldn't you say?


On cave-men... hmmm, did they say what kind of a cavemen is it?

ps. I believe that the earth is not millions and billions of years old; thus, the Bible records from the creation account to today is estimated only 5000-4000 years old; that includes all those living before God shortened man's life to 120 years in the time of Noah befpre he went into the ark(Genesis 6:3). So the Cavemen's age in finding is accurate - no bigfoot I assure you.

Haven't watched that channel much anymore, but I can agree; every time I watched the mainstream media on the coverage of War & Politics; they've always spinned it negatively having always, those in question, defend themselves by the film-clip, and not letting any conservatives or supporters expound why. As to what i am....I'm a Free-Thinker. I don't need (or want) anyone telling me what to believe. I listen to all sides and decide for myself what makes sense. That's if any of it does.
No;they did'nt say how old the fossils were.Still trying to figure that out,i imagine.

And it's still out there walking around.
People just choose to ignore it because it does'nt fit in to what they've been taught to believe.
How is it even possible that you can ASSURE me they don't exist? Believers are being asked all the time to show proof that these things exist. Where's the evidence that proove's they don't??
We of course know the Mountain Gorilla exists. It was'nt discovered until 1902.
Imagine the CRAZY stories told by people who saw a man-like creature trudging through the woods back in those days........
Is there hard evidence of their existence? Such as a dead body? Nope. But any avid wild game hunter will tell you they've never come across a dead bear carcass.

Steve, the bible gave no indication of humaniod creatures; if there are, then the bible would have said "monkeys after their kind and thus man have been..." But none fould in the bible. Man is made in the Image of God so how can there ever be anything other than man?

I heard of numerous sightings watching a documentary, but you've got to ask yourself why is this relevant? With so many signtigns that seems to contradict scripture, you've got to wonder if they are Satan's Lying wonders? Let me give you an example:

There are many sightings of the Virgin Mary (Apparitions of), some seemed to be true and are documented in pictures and films, others are perhaps, hoaxes, such as rose pettles having the Virgin's imprinted image (you can make your own images simply by pressing the carved image on the pettle). And then there are mass witnesses such as what happened in Fatima seeing bright-shining light, healings and if I can remember correctly, voice from the virgin herself. While the sightings maybe true, there is a great theological implication and consenquence to them.

The Protestants and the Catholics as you know differ on many fundamentals and the one thing that is most important other than Salvation by Faith alone is "Sola Scriptura" - Bible Alone. It is because of this belief that Protestants leave many of the Catholic beliefs behind and that includes "Immaculate Conception" - Sinless woman necessary to give birth to Jesus, thus, Mary is actually Sin-Free! To us Protestants/ Evangelicals, that contradicts clear Biblical teaching that ALL mankind is sinful and fall short of the Glory of God (Romans 3:9-17, 23, 5:11-15).

When the apparitions starts to appear during the late 19th century and early 20th, that belief is put to the test; one apparition in particular proclaimed "I AM THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION!" As a result, people came to believe in this Doctrine despite scripture. Do you see the consenquence of this? YEs there are signs and evidences everywhere including witnesses but they contradict the clear teaching of scripture!

Now your Big-foot and the rest also have evidences, and witnesses, but they too have theological consenquences as well. Lets say that there are humaniod creatures... that means the Bible has left out something very important so that causes doubt in the Bible because the Bible says nothing about Evolution of Man yet here is a fossil that seemed "Millions" of years old, looks like man, and he seemed along with other discoveries to evolve from monkeys to fully-erect Man.

Now lets say that these are actually aliens... that causes doubt too because one has to ask "Why didn't God include them in the records of scripture?" This, along with the missing "Q" text and lost gospels causes doubt in the completeness of scripture ultimately undermines the authority of the Bible.

I'm not denying that the fossils don't exist, but you have to understand that we are in a spiritual warfare, satan is out to decieve mankind and have done his job well, You know it is intersting that most apparitions happen only in non-protestant lands; in areas where Bible believers are, the apparitions usually don't appear.

Mountain Gorrillas weren't discovered until the european explorers went deep into the forrest and found them but until then, didn't the natives say that they were Ape-men?

If big-foot is actually an undiscovered species of apes then I have no problem believing it but if aliens or homo-erectus then I am not.
