American Idol sales: Good week helps propel Idol gains - Idol Chatter - USATODAY.com

"Finally, the charts giveth and taketh away. Blake falls off the chart this week, but Kellie -- aided by an appearance on Idol last week -- returns at No. 146 with nearly 6,000 sold, an increase of about 240%. Her total is 734,000."

I expected more but I'm still super excited for the increase. I would be willing to bet that 90% of that was bought online. If the stores would have been stocked up she would have sold at least twice that number but o well what can ya do. Great job on the sales.

Good sales increase. More people need to buy Kellie's CD. It is such a great CD. I hope that it is certified platinum soon.

Just checked the local Best Buy...four CDs left. Strangely, two were priced at $14.99, and the other two at $11.99.

What an amazing increase.I'm so happy to see that,although more folks need to physically purchase the album,but then again some folks have had a hard time finding copies of STG.
