I have been looking forward to this all week!
Thats a great increase, but "Small Town Girl" is such an AMAZING album, that really deserves to be platinum!

Nice increase and I totally agree! If the label had shipped enough to keep stores well stocked and priced right then sales would be much higher! I wonder how many of those 27 million people who watched Kellie perform last week went to Walmart? 50%? I wonder how many would have bought Kellie's CD if they could find it and it was $9.72, and how many bought better marketed CDs instead?

That too makes me wonder Chris. At least i'm not the only one thinking this way.

anyone know why she's gonna appear on ellen? did this come out of the blue, did Ellen ask her to appear again? maybe there was a certain reason for it, and i think you guys get where i'm going with this *fingers crossed*....

Have no idea Lindsay,won't know until we see her on Ellen to know for sure.So,I do know where your comming from *my fingers crossed too"..

Good questions - questions that we have a reasonably good idea what the answers are. What are we missing here? This is just nuts! Do they(her label) know something we don't concerning, what we perceive as, virtually non-existent promotion? Is there a rational and acceptable purpose behind this, seemingly, profoundly inadequate promotion?

Nice increase in sales, although I was hoping for more. I hope this increase in sales continues for awhile. If only her label had been helping Kellie out with the necessary promo that she so richly deserves, STG, most certainly, would have been assured of attaining Platinum long ago.

Nah, I highly doubt it because she's appearing in other shows within a relatively similar time span, which tells me it's nothing special. If it was an isolated appearance then maybe it could be an *announcement* that we don't yet already know.

Yeah but can't we just hope and pray lol. Maybe our positive thoughts of Kellie being awarded a platinum album while on Ellen (her fav talk show) will somehow be felt by her label and they will certify... hehe wouldn't that be awesome?

Small Town Girl jumps from 40 to 22 on the Billboard chart. This is the first time she has been in the top 25 for months.
