Since the label is doing almost no promo, it's not surprising to see sales drop back to the level before her CMA performance. Daughtry is the chief beneficiary because they get about 50 times as much airplay and other label promo. If they gave Kellie anywhere near the same promo her sales would be 2 or 3 times what they are now.

I'm not excited because Bo's first album was terrible, STG is 100 times better and sales should already be double his.

It's not too bad,i can't complain.At least Kellie has surpassed Taylor Hicks,and Taylor and his fans are so proud of Kellie,just as much as i am.I'm a happy camper.

Not particularly happy with the sales because obviously they should be quintupled what they are. I hope she gets some more television exposure here soon so we can get more sales increases... I would really like to see her pass Kellie Clarkson's "My December" which I think was an amazing record.

The declining sale of STG is probably why they are not going to release another single. I'm thinking maybe they will offer STG in a value pack purchase with the new album. If she can have a very big hit with its first release, then that would want people to purchase both, especially if priced right. I've seen several artists with double cd's for sale. I know I bought a couple that had the debut/sophmore cd's together.

There's a Catch 22 here, IMO. The way I see it: TPTB won't release a fourth single because they messed up to begin with on STG, leading to lower sales than necessary to support a new single.

STG didn't sell as well as it should have in part because it was poorly promoted, poorly stocked and overpriced through much of its shelf life.

However, I like your idea on a value pack, if it's priced right. Sell it for $15 and not only will STG pass platinum, so will the second CD. Sell it for $20 and it will do nearly as well.

Exactly, not releasing the very best songs as singles and underpromoting the songs they do release as well as many other types of underpromotion are the reason for the low sales. It seems like they have been trying to keep sales low while others are kept as high as possible. I will be shocked if they do a value pack, low price, or anything to increase sales of either album.
