heres what i think i think a video for ttncamm would help and they need more promotion for the hollidays i think that maybe if the ttncamm video comes out and if she performs at the cmas and with are u smarter then a 5th grader sales should go up so maybe with the holliday we can see a sales boost and she can still go platnum by the end of the year well i have cofidence so lets just hope!

She'll most certainly go platinum. I'm sure that whatever happens her label is planning on shipping the cd platinum, but just waiting for the right time. Perhaps the approaching Xmas season.
STG will definitely go platinum. Perhaps not "on track" as her label predicted. Remember, Miranda's cd took almost two years to go platinumn. By Christmas? Who knows. Think it is a "stretch" to think it will happen that soon. Believe My Angel should be released now. Taylor just release two songs with about two weeks apart, "Picture To Burn" and "Our Song" with accompanying videos. Don't believe "Picture" will do very well, but "Our Song" may....Many artists release singles, back to back.....probably by the "tracking" of response from country radio and other "gages" as to whether the song has a chance for a top 10 or even top 20. What we need to be platinum by Christmas: video for TTNCAMM, release of My Angel with video and a bonus of "Santa Baby" (cd) included in all STG's albums.....around Christmas, it would "go through the roof"....Had said earlier a dvd, but that is way too expensive...would not be "cost effective".....but a cd ???? Don't know how much that would cost either but it would work as far as sales go. Only the accountants would know how it would affect "bottom line"....and even though all of us LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, Kellie, believe as far as her label goes, it is ALL about money. Also, her exposure on TV's "Smarter" will definitely help her and would hope her management (booking agent) will get her on some of the shows to promote TTNCAMM, Santa Baby, and My Angel....always gets a great boost from this kind of exposure.
PLATINUM?????That is what has been shipped, right? not sold.....so we all know at least 700,000 if not 800,000 has been shipped. Can someone help us out with these figures and perhaps any comments.....just to make sure we understand. Know that when STG went gold, it was the about certified "shipped" , not "sold". Am I right?
Yes, I think it is shipped and not sold. That's what people have been saying anyway.
I think Santa Baby will help her tremendously. It's a really cute song and fans of other country artists on Hear Something Country Christmas will hear her and will then want to buy Small Town Girl.
Especially if she has a cute Santa Baby video with the song.

Taylor doesn't have a video for "Picture to Burn" nor has it been released as a single. Not sure why that keeps coming up.
Personally I think Kellie's strength is in her uptempo songs, fun upbeat. I think releasing "My Angel" would be a mistake. Songs with so much personal meaning behind them are often better received after an audience is fully acquainted with the artist and knows the story behind it. I'd actually root for "Small Town Girl" or "Gotta Keep Moving" or if we go with ballad "Didn't You Know How Much I Loved You"
And to respond to your question in the next post its the album shipped. I believe she's at around 700,000 shipped, but that won't make a big difference. Unless sales boom over the next few weeks they won't begin shipping out large quantities of cds.

Me too! She does so well on those shows because she is so funny!! I hope after the video for Things, she does a bunch of promo, not just on the morning shows (a lot of people work or have school so they can't watch it). Going on Leno etc exposes her to different people.
