I just went on Walmarts website and got their corporate address from the help menu and sent them a letter to their feedback/customer service depart about stores not having STG in music departments. Will be interesting to see what kind of reply I get back, maybe everybody needs to do this and it might get there attention, they can't sell it if they don't have it.

Those who notice STG CD isn't on the shelves, are you noticing the same for Taylor Swift's CD? Is there a price difference? Prices may be different in stores but right now Walmart's website has Taylor's album for $9.72 and STG is $13.88. Every time I checked, STG has always been the highest priced everywhere. It was discounted for a week or so on Amazon shortly after release. So I guess we can add this big price difference to the long list of reasons why TS is outselling STG. STG has always lacked in store promos.

our walmart has been pretty good at promos. they still have up the little sign for kellie. kellie is really popular is our area. i think the price is around $9 i'm not sure of the exact cents. i'll check the next time i go to be for sure.

I was at Wal-Mart this weekend and I noticed that Kellie's album wasn't easily visible. When nobody was looking, I put a bunch in front of Bucky's (even though I love him lol), a few in front of Dolly Parton (everyone looks there), and 1 in a section at the top called "CMT Favorites" or something like that.

I went to WalMart to buy a copy of STG for my mom today and low and behold

1) Kellies album was nowhere visible, I had to go search for it, finally found it in the various country artist section ..

and..

2) there were only 3 copies left. I bought one, and then went to the country best sellers & put the other two copies in front of someones.

the only good thing about it was that Taylors wasnt really visible either, it was in the same place as kellies, but there were more copies of hers :[

why are there so many stores that seem to be understocked?!?

From what I've been reading the large chain stores are cutting back on cd's sales and opting for downloads. I think cd sales have been falling overall for the past couple of years regardless of the artist.

STG up to #29 from #33 yesterday and #40 where it was two days ago at this time.

A sweet jump on Best Buy's Top country albums as she sits at #10 up 6 spots from #16.
