Ok, we a have a very wierd update today. It looks like Mediabase made a major change to the AI calculation today that caused a drop in the AI numbers on all the charts. The drop in the AI number is larger as you get higher on the chart. Looking at the climbing songs on the country chart, the losses were generally around 0.1-0.4 million AIs for songs in the high 30s and reached numbers exceedng 2 million AIs at the top of the chart.
DYKYB (+41 spins, -0.378 million AIs) remains at #33.

DYKYB (+41 spins, +0.391 million AIs) remains at #33 and picked up 11 stations for a total of 172. DYKYB will move up 2 spots to #31 this afternoon when the recurrents are removed.

You are assuming that yesterday's numbers were a mistake. They were not. On occassion, Mediabase adjusts their AI numbers. For example, the AIs are based on ratings. Since ratings change, so will the AI numbers. There are probably other factors that cause Mediabase to make adjustments. But the bottom line is that there is nothing to fix. As I pointed out yesterday, the adjustment affected everyone, not just Kellie. But the Billboard AI numbers are in no way linked to the Mediabase numbers. |

I think that the update is +12 spins +0.175 AI thats if i did it right but thats what i think it is

That's correct. All Access was very late updating today. So I didn't get a chance to do the update at the usual time this morning. |
