It's great to see DYKYB in the top downloads! Hopefully those stations will add and put it in their top 5 songs. The other 2 songs that were launched with ACM performances and multiple huge ads in Country Aircheck (which DYKYB did not get) are already way ahead. Kellie's new singles always get left behind like this and it's getting old.

ChrisKellieFan, you can't compare Kellie with them, you know that... i am sure that if Kellie gets a top 5 hit the stations will start to play her new singles faster.

Well without more airplay promotion I don't think it's likely Kellie will get a top 5 hit. Bucky and Taylor got top 5 hits because they got more airplay promotion, it doesn't work the other way around. Take a look here http://countryaircheck.com/pdfs/current45.pdf Who do we see ads for and who's singles are way ahead? Sugarland and Taylor. Bucky made top 5 for the same reason, because his first single was provided with more promotion including about the same number of ads in Country Aircheck Taylor got. Remember Kellie is the only top new artist without a top 5 or 10 single, and it's not because her songs aren't as good as those who have made top 5, it's because the others are promoted more. Also remember country radio favors males by 80%, so females need this promotion more to break top 10 and 5. |

Yes fan requesting is good although as we've already seen with her first 3 singles it can't make up for label promotion, so we need to request her songs plus request more label promo.  I'm concerned that we're already seeing the same lack of airplay promo we saw with all 3 previous singles for her debut single to launch her sophomore album. |

Both of those songs went for adds last Monday. DYKYB doesn't go for adds until June 9th. |
