Todays country reminds me of 70s rock. We have Tim McGraw releasing Suspicions on country radio and it seems to be doing well. So I'm going to say that Taylor is definitely not traditional country, but probably today's country.

i know right??!! i completely agree. they played Teardrops on my guitar on the radio today and it sounds nothing like a country song

I see the Country in her for sure. But when she made the Pop version of TOMG, I lost a lot of respect for her. Carrie proved with BHC that you don't have to change a song for it to crossover.

Yea i TOTALLY agree with you when i heard that song on the radio i was like OMG this song isn't so great pop version i was disappointed in her sort of.
