That's very true. It's sad though because I really was a fan of Rosie's back in the day when she had her own talk show. Things have changed ever since her publicity ''stunt'' on The View.

thats for sure. she was so different and actually funny before she came out.

But yes, she did help Kellie a lot. Kellie's singing I Wonder on the show was a great moment as was her receiving the gold record. That was really a sweet moment for sure.

It's possible that Rosie's influence is why Kellie got two days on the show, the special plaque "ceremony," the bit in the fashion show, and the great setup for "I Wonder." (The View's treatment of the song was a million times classier than what AI did.)

I don't know about room but this was my thinking too - Rosie was a big reason why Kellie got to come back. I'm not sure but she's the only host I recall raving about Kellie and saying she wants her to be the new co-host, so I thought she was her biggest fan on the show. I Wonder on The View was way better than AI and probably even better than most of the music video. But since it was her first public performance of the song it had extra magic and emotion that probably can't be repeated. If they ever add Kellie to the hall of fame, The View performance video ought to be part of it.

I tend to agree with some of the things Rosie says. But it's the way she try's to get her point across.She's like in your face and trying to shove it down your throat!!!

I was devastated when I heard the news, but from the way she ws talking on the show, it sounds like she's going to be back a lot. She just doesn't want to sign a 3 year contract because she wants to feel free to take time off to spend with her kids. Barbara essentially said that Rosie will be their resident guest host.

Actually you are wrong there.

Kellie was invited for the second time because Rosie was a big fan and wanted to have the chance to host with her and wanted to give her the spotlight. And who is Melissa? Barbara is an executive producer of the show yes, but she honestly doesn't have anymore pull than the rest of the ladies given who is going to be there. She tends to allow the other girls to pick their guest hosts because obviously the chemistry between the other three and the guest host is more important than Barbara's.

I know you don't like Rosie, but she adores Kellie and fought for her to be on. And the real reason Kellie was on two days? The View is always pre-recorded on Friday. So they recorded the episode on Thursday the same day Kellie was a co-host live. So she was on two days because it made no sense for them to bring another co-host in when Kellie was already there.

A few weeks late to reply on this subject but I fully agree Rosie was a big supporter of Kellie and I am sorry to see her go. I don't watch the View but I do remember last year at this time before Rosie came on there was a lot of talk about the ladies on the View dissing Kellie while she was on AI.

Rosie's presence and of course once they got to meet Kellie turned them into fans of her. I will always gives props to Rosie and the View for how well they presented the stage that day Kellie performed with the background pics, the piano, and showing Kellie the love and respect she deserves while singing an emotional song.

American Idol should've have taken lessons from the View.
