I'm an author now!!!

I apologize for not being on here. I havn't even been on Katharine's forums, but I have an excuse. I am now an author for preteen girls (or anyone who wants to buy it). It's a mystery book series called, Secert Spys, and the 1st book of the series is called A New Beginning. It's a really awesome book!!! My 11 year old sister has read it 4 times!! It's about two identical twin girls, Kayla and Katharine who have just been told the biggest secret of their lives! You don't want to miss out on this one!! You write too!!! That's awesome!!! You know most people sit in a quiet place with their computer or a pad of paper and just start writing but that doesn't happen for me. I can't write with interruptions like with any members of my family barging in my room, but the only way I can write is when I'm sleeping, watching television, or listening to music. I think of ideas while I'm doing those things. This is what I wanted to do since I was a little girl. All my life my mom has told me I had a wild imagination. lol. The ideas just come to me. It's not based on my life or anything. It's just based on what ever comes out of my head and onto the paper. After I have written it down on paper then I go back and type it up on the computer. I don't know how you are though. If you like the quiet, go to a special place in your house and write. It's not hard at all to me because I think of ideas quickly. I hope that helps. If you need any help at all let me know. What are you writing about? It also depends on that as well. I grew up on Nancy Drew, Boxcar Children and Goosebump books, and that inspired me to do a mystery series. I love those kinds of books because it keeps readers in suspense.

No kidding! Me, too! I love Nancy Drew and The Hardy Boys. I'm the same with writing, I don't base it on my life, only on that entertains me.
