I completely agree with this. It seems that, for some reason that escapes me, the AI producers are almost desperate for David Archuleta to win this.
If they are desperate for Archuleta to win, I don't understand why. Cook has outsold Archuleta all season on itunes. He's been number 1 the entire season and most of his songs are in the top 20 chart of Idol. Archuleta's only big hit on itunes was of course Imagine. (I know Itunes isn't a big deal but it does give us an idea who can sell records or not if given the right material and high quality of songs) and Cook had 2 big hits (Billie Jean and Always Be My Baby) that went number 1 on the overall chart that has Rihanna, Madonna and all the other big artists on there. If Archie wins, how exactly will they market him?

See that's my problem with him. I don't think he's marketable. lol. I have no problem with him really. He seems like a nice kid. But I just don't like his style of music. lol.

I didn't like the way Simon threw David Cook under the Bus. David was Great, and I liked the fact he sang something new and not repeat a song. My fav's were gone, but I did like David C's overall performance last night. Sharon is correct, Little David's songs all sound the same. I was not a big fan of either, however, I would buy David Cook's album over "Archie" IMHO. It's still my opinion that David A. will fade into the sunset just like Taylor Hicks and Kat Mcphee.

I agree. Its not like I'm a HUGE fan of either and all my fave's are gone but I simply enjoyed Cooks performances better. lol. I really had no intention of voting at all but I picked up the phone and voted for Cook simply because that last song gave me chills. lol. And he didn't fall into the catagory of being predictable the way Archie did IMO. We saw a different side of him in every song he sang. And IMO, THAT is what AI is about. lol

I agree with you Unkie! However, I've become more of a David Cook fan every week. I hope he wins!
