It was not a great night! David Cook sang his first song AMAZINGLY and id great on his other two! Syesha was okay on her first song, she got really unexpectedly sexy on "Feaver" and I loved how she sang "Hit Me Up"! Archie kileed "With You" by Chris bRown. CB is one of my Top 3 favorite singers and now I feel bad for Chris. Archie was not good period. Cookie looked SEXIER tha eva!!! Please Note that this is just MY OPINION. No hurt feelings here!

Sure everyone is entitled to his/her opinion but my husband and I both thought David A was outstanding in all three songs. Yes, he was a bit nervous during the second, but vocally he was great. Just remember one thing: an artist grows in time. Look at Kellie: we all loved her on AI but is there any doubt how much she has grown as an artist/performer? I guess I show my age but I am not crazy about rock music and never was.

Is it just me or doesn't it seem that the "Idol Machine", which includes the judges and producers, actively try and promote one Idol over another, including their comments (which sometimes don't really jive with the performance) and on this episode, the song choices (Syesha got a bum choice with her last song IMO).

I guess there's a subtle difference between giving a valid critique and slanting the critique to the way they want the contest to come out.

It's a feeling I've had all season, but it really seemed to come out last night.

However, I really think that David A and David C are the best of the lot, and either would make a great Champion. I was a big David A fan in the beginning of the season, and still am, but in my opinion, David Cook has overtaken David A with his maturity and musical instincts.

Everything he has done has been right on. When I heard he was given The First Time, I cringed, and suspected that Simon was undermining his final 3 performance. However, the guy can do no wrong. He changed up the song, and did a phenominal job with it. Particularly how the song built to a magnificant clilmax at the end, something Roberta'a verson doesn't really do.

Simon's song choice for David Cook was totally DUMB! Even so, David Cook managed to pull it off quite well. I wonder if Simon was trying to sabotage David Cook with this completely off the wall song choice.

Archie's Chris Brown thing didn't pan out for me. He sang great on the other two songs, but it does seem to show up the fact that he mainly sings retro type ballads, and that isn't really what's happening in music today. Admittedly, he sings them VERY well. Better than anybody really. Also, his stage presence needs a lot of work. That habit of shutting his eyes all the time while singing a love song isn't a good thing.

Syesha did very well. I thought her version of Fever was about the best I've ever seen that song done. As for the judges blasting her for song choice on the "penguin song" that was dumb and I wish she had defended herself by pointing out it wasn't the song she chose to sing. It was the producers choice.

In spite of what the judges said, I don't think anybody really blew anything last night, although the peculiar song choices made for a somewhat boring evening.

I think David Cook did the best, especially with his last song. His second song was just starting to get interesting and then it ended. I agree with Paula on that point.

Well it was kinda a sucky okay night for me personally. Cook did the best, Syesha was OK. I liked her Fever performance. Archuleta: HEHE! LMAO! ''I need you boo, I gotta see you boo'' and ''Hey Little Mama, Boo You A Stunna, Hot little figure, Yes you a winner'' are two lyrics I NEVER thought I would hear from him EVER! Daddy really wasn't involved in the song choice process this time. It made me LMAO, I thought it was so funny.

Yes, I suppose if one takes into consideration, that the group buying and downloading music is mostly teens and young adults. From that point of view, it is probably true that David Cook should win it all, I must sadly admit. But as far as pure vocal beauty and excellence go, I think there is no question that Archie is the best pure singer of the entire competition. David Cook is good with his originality, but I daresay he has a tendency to scream at certain points. In any case, he will get a contract regardless whether he wins or not. Look at Daughtry: number 4 and one of the most successful ever! You all might be right that ARchie is a bit young, but I prefer that he strikes while hot, and his polish will come in time with experience like our Kellie!

I'm gonna disagree just a little. I didn't like Syesha's last song at all. Her second one seemed like she was doing more acting then singing. Though I did like the first song. David A... I liked his first and third songs. The second song was a bad idea. I understand why he did it and for that it was probably smart but I didn't like the song choice at all. David Cook- Again I liked the first and third. The second was ok but nothing spectatcular IMO. For me his last song was the best of the night. Though overll I found the show pretty boring. Whiich is whyy I've always said that I can't believe this is who America picked as their top 3. lol. I think its Syesyha's turn to go home and I would be VERY surprised if the finale was anything BUT the two Davids. LOL.
