Well Jason is gone. No surprise at all. I would have been shocked had it been otherwise. I dont think he really cares anyway. He will be on the tour and has tons of fans.

I am quite certain it will be between the two Davids. Syesha is in the same place this year that Melinda Doolittle was last year. Of course there is no comparison between the two voices, but Syesha has a great image and is a great performer. I am sure they will all do great.

As I wasn't surprised either of the result outcome. It has me wondered all season what has been so appealing of Jason Castro. At the beginning he was quite good,but has faltered and fizzled out as soon as he hit the top 12.
Syesha has become a firecracker and a great contender,as i look back into the beginning stages of the show,she was quite unforgetable to me and now she has my attention,as this goes for David Cook as well. I for one would love to see David C & Syesha in the top 2.

After 4 Weeks of getting it wrong, I am glad that the show FINALLY got it right. lol. I actually have no doubt in my mind that David Cook will win it all. I think the Finale will be betweeen The David's unless one of them REALLY messes up. But if Syesha makes the top 2, It will be a slam dunk because I don't think she stands a chance against EITHER Of the David's. They've been the top 2 all season long and have been pimped for as long as I can remember. lol. But I high;y doubt Syesha will make it past next week. She's been in the bottom more then anyone else and the David's have been consistently kept OUT of the bottom. I would be surprised if it was anyone other then the David's battling it out in the finale. lol. But I honestly could care less at this point. It was the first week I didn't vote and I highly I doubt I will from this point on because I just have that whole attitude of who really cares? They should give Jason the comedy spot in the finale this season. lol.

Syesha will be leaving next week. The 2 Davids will fight it out on the finale, with, believe it or not, the little David winning it all.

Syesha will join the likes of Diana DeGarmo, Fantasia, and Tamyra Gray in broadway and do very well.

David C. will record a rock/pop album, ala Daughtry, and do fairly well.

David A will become a younger version of Michael Buble and even record his cd in Spanish. He'll have to improve on his communications skills if he wants to succeed in today's media obsessed markets. jmo

None of them, however, will sell like Kelly, Carrie, Clay, Kellie,or even Jordin. Not in today's weak cd market. Idol is losing it's luster with each passing year. They need to either find a way to make the show more interesting, or find another Kelly or Carrie. That is hard to do. Most of Kellys and Carries of this world are already signed up.

Yep, I agree that the finale probably will be between the Davids. I am happy Syesha made it to the final three, although it wasn't easy for her. She was in the final two or three several times, but she just seems to be getting better and better. Who will win this year? I think it's kind of hard to say right now. My personal favorite though is David Cook.

I think Melinda was by far the best last year, and in my opinion should have won. Her vocals were extraordinary and incomparable on virtually every song.

I wasn't a Melinda fan at all but I agree she had a good voice. My favorites last season were Jordin and Haley Though. lol. But I always seem to like the ones who never go to the finals. This season it was Kristy and Brooke. lol.

Sharon, your right, However, the ones we have as fav's and get voted off, always seem to do the best.

I think the one contestant that should have been on the show and was eliminated in the selection of the Top 24 was Cardin. I saw her perform in a local Nashville club and she was Fantastic. I think even Simon regretted the decision while they were walking back to the elevator.

She not only had the looks but also a great set of chops. I think she would have gone far. I think we'll see more of her in the near future.

Look at Julianne Hough, who knew she was an Awesome country singer as the blonde bombshell on "Dancing with the Stars" Ya just never know!!!!!!

i think both David's deserve be the next american idol, this season had the best talent ever but the themes sucked, my favorites Kady,Alaina and Asia'h were voted off really early, so for me it was a disappointing season.

I think David Cook will win. Probably a David vs. David finish.

Even so, if little David does win, then David Cook will probably do just as well selling his CDs because others who haven't won (like Daughtry) have done really, really well after Idol anyway.

I agree with you Shellie. I know it probably won't happen but I would love to see a David C & Syesha finale. Cook has always been my favorite and Syesha is actually getting better and better as time goes on. I'm very impressed with her now. I still say if it the davids in the finals, Archie will win sadly

I like David A. as a person. I think he's undeniably talented. I have a feeling he's going to win this year's title running away. I don't know whether he will do well or not once the show ends, because I don't follow pop closely anymore.

But ... I have yet to connect with anything he's done this year. Honestly, some of the things he does during his performances tend to annoy me. When he threw in the line "and all the beautiful girls" into "Stand By Me" just to play up to the mosh pit and pander for votes, my eyes rolled back into my head so far I needed a crane to pull them out again.

Sorry for being so negative about David A. I think he's talented but programmed, and it's just not working for me.

I would like to see him in a few years, when he's had some time to mature and figure out who he really is. He also needs a good producer to rein him in.

So, yeah. I'm pulling for a David C. vs. Syesha finale, but I don't think we'll see that.

David A. is underrated here at KF, i have all his studio recording and he is good.
his "Imagine" performace is probaly one of the best ever.

Jason - unloved lol
