Well guys, Archie was the bomb tonight and Syesha second. I really thought David C was just okay and I thought Jason was awful ( sorry Jason fans!). Archie was just incredible and all the judges thought so as well! Like to hear your opinions.

I only saw bits & pieces of it, tonight, because I'm officially in "who cares" mode.
If I was putting a show together, I would be beating down doors to get Syesha in my cast. Mister rope hair acts like he doesn't care & should be sent home. Actually, he doesn't deserve to be in the top 10, but that's another story.

Well, David A. will probably win but I think Syesha may come in 2nd. She has really turned it on lately. Another lovely girl with a great voice. Her dancing was great.
Remember when Kellie did a little hip move and they all said , no no moves like that on A.I. ?.........lol

I'm Officially In "Who Cares" Mode But I Thought The David's Were The Best. This Week David A Was Better But I Liked David C's Second Song. Syesha Was Mediocre For Me. The First Song Her Vocals Weren't That Good But She Had The Personality. The Second Song She Had The Vocals But No Personality. My Biggest Problem With Her Has ALWAYS Been That She's Too Bland And Boring. I Still Don't Like Her But I Think She Deserves To Stay Over Jason, Who I Think Has Been Getting Worse Every Week. I Hope Simon's Comment Didn't Save Him. He Obviously Doesn't Care And Should Just Go Home. lol. Though This Top 4 Is A Joke To Me Anyways. It's The First Time I Didn't Vote For A Single Person Because I Just Wasn't Bloown Away By ANYONE. lol. I Still Think David C Will Win Though.

What a Boring show, Can someone in their right mind tell me how in the H*** Jason is still on the show and Talent like Brooke, Kristy, Carly and Michael are not????? This kid is way over his head. Voting has to change on this show. Text msg'ing should be limited to internet only where IP's can be verified like they do for DWTS and limited calls from a telephone number. This way we can do away with Dial Idol and Vote for the worst Ding Dongs. Something has to change, we're getting too many bad singers into the top.

I know everyone is GOO GOO over Archie, but I'm still going on record that He and Jason will fade into the sunset once the tour is over. David C. will do well and Syesha goes to broadway and will not become a mega star.

I believe Brooke, Kristy, Carly and Michael will come out of AI 7 as the "Real" winners and have very successful careers. None of the present Top 4 has received any phone calls from industry named artists. Kristy and Brooke are the talk of Nashville with many of my former and present Colleagues. When you have newcomers and veterans like Jason Aldean and Carly Simon call you, you know your being looked at.

I believe Kristy, Brooke and David Cook will do well after idol. I keep wondering how many new faces Nashville can absorb (and support) in a short period of time. Carrie has had a great couple of years, now the talk is Taylor, next year Kellie, then Julienne Hough, then Kristy? I just hope there are a lot of fans like me that like more than one artist.

Jason is my favorite this season but I'm expecting him to go tonight. He didn't do well with his first song and really messed up on the second song. I'm glad he at least made it to the top 4, though! Once Jason leaves, I'll be rooting for David C. to win.

Nashville is a Major Music Hub, it's not all Country. Many of the biggest Studios have moved their Recording services to Nashville due to the wealth of Talent that flock to the music capital. From Rock to Blues, to Country and Soul. The Talent available is limitless.

Syesha looked great and had good moves. Her Proud Mary wasn't that great vocally though. Her voice sounded kind of thin. Her second song I did not care for at all.

David's first song was solid, but nothing spectacular. His second song was much better.

Jason bombed big time. If there was one song he SHOULD have been able to sing, it was Mr. Tambourine Man but he couldn't remember the words and did just a fair job on it. I suspect he's used to coasting through life on his charm. It seems to me that he lacks discipline to learn the material. His song choices have not been very good and in general, his performances have been going downhill a little more each time. I'd be surprised if he made it through to next week. Very surprised.

Archie did quite well on Stand By Me. But on his Elvis song, UGH! It's supposed to be a simple, heart-felt song and it just seems to me like he was all over the map with his male-diva type vocal tricks. Sorry. Didn't work for me at all.

In the end, David A. doesn't have a commercial sound. Unless popular music changes drastically in a short period of time (it is changing back to recognizable melodies and a more retro sound but not very fast) David A. is not going to be a big star with singing.

David Cook should do very well. I can see a place for Michael Johns, Brook and Carly in the music industry, but hard to tell how successful they will be yet.

Kristy may have some tough sledding because she is following the success of Carrie Underwood, Kellie Pickler, Taylor Swift and Miranda Lambert. Hmmm. We will see how that works out.

Hi Ernie,

I usually agree with most of your opinions, but I think David A for his age, is a remarkable talent. He has his own style. While he might not become the next pop star, he may just well find his niche in the music industry. There is room for many, like you said. I think Jason Castro is not up to being in the top four and am amazed that he has lasted this long. It's almost a joke. But the teeny bopper gals sit on their cell phones voting solid for two hours. I also think they need to limit the texts and phone calls and control it somehow to get a more positive outcome.

I guess everyone has their preferences; that's what makes so much diversity and choice in the world. I dont think that David Cook is all that great; he has a powerful voice but it seems same old same old each week. However, he could end up like Daughtry, who knows? In this business, surprises happen; totally unpredictable.
