Someone told me that Kristy was on Idol Extra With Brooke. Now I REALLY need to get my hands on that tape. lol. My Beautiful Krooke Friendship Reunited. LOL.
Kristy said she would have sung "America" for Neil Diamond Week. (And she would have sounded better then David A IMO. She just has a knack for patriotic songs IMO. lol) and that she got a new horse similar to the one she sold. I guess she was interviewed first with Brooke and then by herself. I really hope I can see this. I just LOVE Kristy and Brooke. Both separately and together. lol.

Brooke will be fine and so is Kristy. Some industry rumors are Kristy has record companies looking at her already as I predicted. I'm sure Brooke will not be far behind. So hang in there fans, I'm with ya. However, they can't sign till after the Tour.
I have both Brooke's and Kristy's Pre-Idol CD's and they are Great. Looks like more good music to come.
I'm not sure if you all heard, but Brooke got a call from Carly Simon
I have no dought that they both will have great careers.
Some of you may not get the "Idol Extra" show on Fox reality, but her interview was fantastic, what a down to earth young women Brooke is. I would be proud if she were my daughter. Brooke was surprised during the interview with a visit from Kristy and asked Brooke to be in her wedding. You could tell they became very close. Kristy also got a New Horse very similar to the one she had to sell for travel expenses. She loves him. I think Brooke and Kristy will have a ball on tour.
Brooke never crossed over to the dark side, as Simon said he would try LOL
Oh, I forgot, Kristy said she was to sing "Coming to America" if she had stayed.

Yes i was pretty upset when Brooke left too. I was more shocked when Micheal Johns left. I keep thinking every wk its going to be Jason but not yet?? I had the finally 3 picked , thought it would be the 2 Davids and Michael and was leaning toward David Cook winning but who the heck knows what will happen?? Just keep on voting and i am so sad that i will not be here when the AI tour comes we will be on vacation, but i am hoping they will be near where we go camping in Maine?? Oh my god i am going to miss 2 concerts that wk, AI tour and Kellie at Mohegan Sun, OK now i am upset!!!!!!!!!!!!!! lol

It doesn't surprise me one bit that Kristy's already having people looking at her. I know she got a call from Tanya Tucker when she was still on the show and Jason Aldean invited her and her fiance to hang out with him on the Tim Mcgraw tour and also said she was his favoriate. I'm glad Brooke is having similar experiences. I always said those two were the best and I still believe it. They'll go on to be mega successful IMO. I like how neither of them swayed from who they were on the show. I call them America's Sweethearts because they're truly the sweetest contestants this season. lol. I have Kristy's Pre Idol CD on my Ipod but I want to rder he actual CD and Brooke's too. Do you know where Its Available? I'm trying to get Baylie Brown's too. But they're saying its out of stock right now. Hopefully it comes back soon. lol.
Yeah Kristy and Brooke are best friends and Brooke's Husband and Kristy's Fiance are too. lol. They all got really close during the show and I think its really cool. I LOVE the Krooke friendship and am really glad that Kristy was there for Brooke the same way she was there for her. They're just so cute and I LOVE them both SO much. I bet they're gonna have so much fun on the tour and I hope they get to sing a Duet together. That would be AWESOME!!! I will ALWAYS support them both, no matter what. Just as I supported everyone else I loved, even when people said they would fall flat on their face. lol. Once I'm a fan, I'm a fan for life. lol. GO KRISTY AND BROOKE!!! LOVE YA!!

Sharon, Kristy's Album is available from CD Baby for $12.97, you can google it, However, Brooke's is near impossible to get. One web site had it for $1,000. Baylie's is not available at all, unless someone puts one up for auction. She's under contract so it's been pulled. I tried some of my inside music sales broker contacts and couldn't secure one. I've been trying since her original audition. Stay tuned I may be able to help you with Brooke's.

“I had shopped Brooke to practically every label in town and no bites,” confessed fallen Idol Brooke White’s former manager, Tim Simms, in a phone interview today. “No one thought you could shop the good girl.” As of today, however, Brooke White fans will be able to “shop the good girl” –- literally. Brooke’s debut album, “Songs From the Attic,” which she co-wrote and recorded with Tim, has now been re-released on Brookewhite.com.
Over the course of their four years working and recording together, Tim has been everything to Brooke: producer, manager, guitar player, roadie and more. “Its just a great, very, very unorthodox, professional” relationship, explained Tim, who remained in close communication with Brooke and her family throughout the competition. “It’s a great story,” he mused. “It’s like, movie of the week.”
When Tim says “movie of the week,” he is referring not to Brooke’s proclivity for waterworks but to their long, hard struggle for success. Tim first caught wind of Brooke when she was 19, through a friend who was teaching Brooke’s artist development class at the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles.
“Tim, you’ve gotta hear this girl,” said the teacher. “She's got that ‘it’ factor.” Tim wasn’t so sure. “I hear that all the time,” he thought.
With more than a little resistance, Tim agreed to meet the teen student. “I said, OK, my house, quarter to 3, don’t be late,” recalled Tim. When he first laid eyes on Brooke, Tim wasn’t convinced. Her glasses, dress and diminutive presence made him see her as “little meek Brooke … like Mary Poppins, man!” But for reasons he’s still unsure of, Tim recorded the first song Brooke ever played for him: “Come to My Rescue.” At the time, it was the only song in her repertoire. Tim still prizes that first recording and recalls that performance as the moment he knew he’d found something special. “It was just like … when the hairs on the back of your neck go up.”
Tim signed Brooke and began to tirelessly promote her. Eager to “jump on [the Norah Jones] bandwagon,” Tim and Brooke recorded a three-track piano-vocal demo tape, which Tim passed around to his industry contacts.
"You would have thought I was sending them, like, some alien ship,” chuckled Tim.
Tim convinced some contacts at Island Records to attend Brooke’s show at a local pub called Molly Malone’s, but they went home unimpressed. “They were like, ‘We kinda hear what you hear, but we don’t know if the suits will hear it. … Why don’t you record some tracks?’ "
And so they did. “We tried one song and we thought, 'That sounds pretty good,' and we kept going,” Tim explained. Tim and Brooke co-wrote and recorded the entire album in Tim’s attic, and so they called it “Songs From the Attic.” They sought, above all, to make the album organic. Aside from a couple of covers, the album was just an unknown young woman named Brooke, singing from her heart. The album made the rounds, but still, nobody was interested. “The industry, collectively, from New York to Nashville to L.A., everyone passed,” admitted Tim. “No one heard what I heard.”
But Tim kept fighting. “This was just raw talent that can’t be taught or bought,” he insisted. Next came a Star 98.7 video contest. For less than $1,500 and with two days to shoot, Tim and Brooke recorded a music video and entered the competition. Brooke made the top five and got to compete at the Key Club. “Everyone thought she was going to win,” Tim recalled. She didn’t.
“She was ready to throw in the towel,” explained Tim. “Everyone is saying, ‘You can't sell the good girl,’ and I’m like, ‘You’re wrong. Brooke, you don’t have to change. She’s the nicest person I’ve ever met, period.”
Wasn’t there any place where a good girl could be free to be the good girl?
And that’s when it dawned on him. Brooke should audition for “American Idol.” When Brooke countered that she didn’t even know when auditions were, Tim went online to find out. “The last audition was in three days.” Brooke packed her bags and got on a plane. The rest is history.
Now that Brooke has been eliminated, Tim is making “Songs From the Attic” available to the public. As of today, it is available on Brookewhite.com. Needless to say, Tim couldn’t be more pleased about Brooke’s tremendous success. Plus, he adds, “I’m just happy to know that I wasn’t delusional the whole time.”
My fav song on brooke's album is "Change" It's her "Zone"

Amazon also has Kristi's "Devoted".
Thats a good idea. I was gonna go look for some books over there anyways. I always use that site but I forget about it for music for some reason. lol. I'll go check it out.
