Obviously, I think Kristy Lee is hoping to follow in Kellie's footsteps.

The article talks about her engagement, and it looks like the new owner of the horse she sold doesn't want to sell it back.

Despite her frequent trips to the bottom three, fans were still surprised when Kristy Lee Cook was voted off "American Idol" Wednesday night.

So was Cook, the cowgirl from Selma, Oregon, who had bounced back from judge Simon Cowell's piercing barbs so often she seemed indestructible.

"I thought I had at least another week in me," Cook said during a conference call interview with reporters Thursday morning.

As Walz, 33, points out, season five "Idol" contestant Kellie Pickler left around the same time as Cook. Earlier this week, Pickler scooped up three prizes at the CMT (Country Music Television) awards. Pickler follows in the footsteps of season four winner Carrie Underwood, who's zoomed to the top of the country charts.

I LOVE that article and even though I think she should have gone further then she did, it hardly matters anymore. LOL. I think she's going to go on to be one of the best selling artists of the season. And I can't wait to watch her do it. LOL.
