Kristy, I think pulled off a fine performance. Mariah is a hard act to follow even for the best pop singers. For Mariah to say Kristy gave her goose bumps and that she could have a hit with it, says a lot. I think she's proving the Kristy Haters wrong. One of the goals for a singer on Idol is to step up your game every week, and I think Kristy is doing just that. She gets better with every showing, and I like that in an Artist. Do I think she'll win, No, but I predict she will be a very successful recording artist.
I'm a little worried about Brooke. She looked really nervous last night. But I still think she's awesome as a person and singer.

Oh yeah just wanted to mention that I'm a HUGE Mariah Carey fan (I LOVE HER) and I just wanted to point out that Kristy sang ''Forever'' which is one of my favorite Mariah songs. She did great on the song, she's been impressing me every week and I have to admit Top 24 week I didn't even like Kristy. I think she can be successful country singer as long as the label (whoever signs her) gets her some great potential hit songs for the album.
PS I'm glad I wasn't the only one who thought Brooke was nervous last night

I really like Brooke and I think she'll do very well as an artist but I wouldn't be surprised if she left tonight. She just wasn't on the top of her game and she looked like she was shaking. And I agree with the people who said she was singing too fast. There was just something missing.
Kristy, on the other hand, has REALLY stepped up her game week after week and I think she gave one heck of a performance last night. I always believed she was better then they gave her credit for and she's proving so many people wrong by going further then they ever thought was possible. (TV Guide had a write up on this too. LOl). I don't think she'll win but I can see her in the top 3. She's improving week after week and the other girls aren't so yes, I think she'll be the last girl standing unless something drastic happens. lol. but regardless, I am very proud of her and I think she'll do very very well in the music buisness. She was A LOT better then the judges gave her credit for IMO. I just don't think she's leaving yet.
And one thing I thought was a pretty big deal was how Mariah said she prefered KLC's version of the song and that she gave her goosebumps. That was pretty high praise IMO and I think Kristy should be pretty darn proud of herself for impressing Mariah so much. I know I was. LOL

I definately agree with you Emily. Carly has definately lost her spark.She maybe eliminated tonight,as anything can happen on Idol.
