I'm not going to say anything about who I think should have gone home because I don't want to offend anyone so I will keep my mouth shut. But there was at least 1, if not 2, people that should have left before Michael did. Tuesday night was definitely not his best but everyone has at least 1 bad night.

Pretty much all of my favorites were eliminated before the top 24. The only favorite left I have now is Jason. This season isn't that exciting. It's been pretty boring from the beginning for me.

The semi's were hard. Losing Danny, Kady, and Alaina. I thought Michael would make the top 4 for sure.

I personally am not a fan of Micheal and i wasnt that upset that he left but i did get shocked by it. I thought for sure that Syesah would being leaving.

I liked Carly in the beginning but now she's just a lil bit boring! Styeesha and Jason are too!

Yeah, you're right. Michael also had some deals brewing with a couple of different labels that didn't work out. Throughout the seven seasons of AI there have been many contestants that were professional performers or were under contract of some kind. I don't know why some people are making a big deal about it now concerning Carly. AI producers never said it was an amateur contest. You just can't be under contract now. Previously being under contract presents no problem for them. And it doesn't seem to me to be very reasonable for it to be a problem for fans of the show.

I also wish Kady and Aliana were still in it. After listening to Kristy's Album right after the audition, I realized this young lady has talent. I agree with much of what Fred (realone) said. I was also a big fan of Taylor Hicks, Kat and Jordan, but their albums are terrible. To give you an example, Kat's style of music on the show was fantastic, the songs she put on her album, S*****. plain and simple.

If Kristy or Brooke put out a bad Album I'll be the first one to say so.

I too think Alaina deserved to stay longer. It was very surprising when she was voted off. I didn't think Kristy had very good performances until the last two, which were very good, especially the last one. She nailed it. I thought she sang beautifully.

I completely agree. I have tons of respect for Carly for actually being upfront with it and telling America in one of her interviews. Its so much better than just ignoring it. Nobody had ever heard of any of the people before Idol so I don't see why it is any less fair for them to compete than anyone else.

I wasn't really shocked by Michael leaving. A tough break for him and talent wise he should've at least made Top 5 but I just wasn't all that impressed by him. My opinion is he only had two strong nights in these 8 weeks of performing the rest were just so-so. I was happy Carly stayed cause she is a better singer and if it's Mariah week well I think she will shine. Syesha also could have a good week. Looks like an all David finale to me.
