David A is the bomb! He is unbelievable and in my humble opinion he will be the next AI. David H and Chikeze also did very well but no comparison to David A. Paula was crying and so was my daughter: she is 30 and wants to "adopt" him. He is an amazing singer and very charasmatic. If he is not AI he will be first runner up but I think he is IT!

I wasn't expecting at all that he sounded like that! Wow, I think David A. has the BEST vocals out of all AI! Very mature and beautiful! Especially, at the very beginning when he starts out with "Brotherhood..."! If you don't think so, turn up the volume and close your eyes. I wouldn't mind buying the full version of the song! I hope he at least make it to the top 10.

Yeah, I don't doubt it. He's soo good that it's "laughable" in a good way, lol! The boy is gifted or something because dang he's only 17! It's first time that I felt that way about a guy singer on AI, lol. It makes the other guy sound so amateurish, haha!

Chikezi doing WAY better than last time and was second best.

After that I liked David Cook, the rocker guy.

Michael Johns was really boring and fell right off the charts after making a good start last week.

I still like Michael Johns. And I liked David Cook and the rocker guy Robbie. Still don't care for Chichezie, though he did better then last week. David A is STILL the best though. lol.

I have heard David Archuleta several times over the past 6 or 7 years and I have never been impressed as much as I was last night and when he sang Heaven during Hollywood week. I think this is an example of a good child singer maturing into his adult voice and that voice being the perfect singing voice. Many young singers "lose it" as they mature, David is an example of a phenomenal improvement.

Imagine is one of my top 5 songs of all time. This may be heresy, but I like the David A version of this song over John L.'s version. Lennon version was vocally very simple. To me, David's version had more emotion.

I pulled up a video of John singing the song (white room with Yoko Ono, most have seen this one), and John's face had almost no emotion. That is certainly one way to sing the song, and maybe in the 70's it was the way to go. However, and this is purely a personal preference, I favor David's version.

David is going to have to really goof up with bad song selections to lose this competition. It is going to be very interesting to see how Clive develops him as an artist. I hope he doesn't mess David up.

You know, Robert, I agree with you totally: I think we are already looking at the winner in David; my daughter and husband agree also. While he was singing IMagine last night ( which is also a favorite of mine) believe me I thought the same thing to myself better than Lennon; I also said on the spot to my husband, you are looking at the next American Idol. I think he has the whole package: talent, looks and charisma.

Think that David A. rocks...hes my favorite but im not sure if he'll win becuse of his age..but then again Jordin won and she was young...VOTE FOR DAVID he deserves the win!!!
