He actually seemed like he knew what he was talking about. I was a little surprised.
Yeah, i was surprised too, Con drives me crazy but he seemd to actually have a good handle on what is going on. The more I hear from previous contestants the more I think the show is rigged. Its frightening that so many ex contestants can predict the results with such accuracy.

I think Haley will be not going anywhere for a long time. I think Sanjaya will be leaving in the next two weeks. We need to realize that he is just on the show because he has good hair and people feel sorry for him.
I have absolutely no favorites this year and have not even voted for anyone, so I can be completely objective in choosing who I think is the best singer, performer. For me there is just simply no question about who is by far the best. It's obviously Melinda. She is blowing everyone away, even Lakisha, who I didn't think was that great last night - good, but not great. I thought Jordin was the next best singer to Melinda last night.
Because of the "plan to oust Sanjaya" I did try to vote last night a few times but couldn't get through - 'all circuits are busy now'. I don't remember that happening last year.
As to who is going home tonight, I think it will be either Phil, Haley or Gina.
Unfortunately there is a very concerted effort by VFTW, Howard Stern and others who delight in voting for the "bad kid".
I think it will be either Gina, Phil or Sanjia that goes. His luck has to run out sometime. And Haley needs to make it till at least Country week so I'm keeping my fingers crossed. lol

This season is a waste of time IMO.
I don't understand how Melinda and Lakeisha are SOOO amazing! They sound pretty regular, nothing special, to me!!! It makes meeee sooo mad goshhhh

I was watching "The View" and Howard's fiancee was on there (who actually seems like a really sweet girl) she's so mad at him for telling people to vote for Sanjaya. She's been begging him to stop and she said she thinks she's finally getting somewhere with him.

It should have been Phil that went and not Gina IMO. But between Gina and Haley, Haley had a better performance IMO. But then again, I'll ALWAYS root for the underdog and even though I love her already, the more people bash her, the more I want to vote FOR her. lol. I don't think she was ever given a fair shot and the judges clearly have their favoriates already so I sadly, I don't think she'll ever get a positive review from the judges, who clearly don't like her. IMO the way they talked to her last week was uncalled for.

In regards to Haley, I posted this elsehwere and I'll just bring it over here. I was a fan of Haley in the beginning, her first performance showed real promise and ever since then she's gone down hill.
7. Haley Scarnato: Ain't Misbehaving: Umm Haley babe, you have a coach for a reason and Tony gave you some incredible advice about the meaning of the song and you basically ignored it. You sexed the song up too much and made it seem like you were mibehaving, not that you were madly in love with one person and don't want anyone else. I feel like she's realized that her vocals aren't what are keeping her there and is playing up her sex appeal as much as she possibly can. This should have been a real shining moment for her and I think she blew it. But she dresses like that and then gets pissed when Simon comments on the outfit, you don't flaunt stuff you don't want people commenting on.
Haley wants to be known as the sexy one, if she didn't she wouldn't dress/dance/act like she does. You can't blame the judges for calling her out on what she's doing. Every performer sexes it up every once in a while, but most of the time it doesn't look quite as forced and intentional as when Haley does it.
And Melinda has every right to be on the show, because she was undiscovered.
That said I think Phil will be going home because horny teenage boys vote like crazy, almost as much as the raging fan girls voting for Sanjaya.
I disagree with pretty much everything you said. But that's ok. We're all entitled to our own opinions right? lol. I happen to LOVE Haley and will continue to support her now and after her Idol run. I think she has GREAT potential. She's one of the few I look forward to watching every week. lol
