In a surprise move, Clive Davis announced that he would back Sanjaya Malakar in a huge recording deal that includes three videos, and two CDs to be released later this year and early next year.
Clive is quoted as saying: I think this kid will be bigger than Michael Jackson. And I can hardly wait to get going on this project. He's different and he has the charisma to draw a lot of fans.
Simon Cowell was furious when he learned of the deal early this morning and said he will not be coming back to American Idol after this year. And if you read this far, please note that this is an April Fool's joke and not a single word of this is true. Uh....were you fooled?

She had me also on that one but I had mixed emotions as I read..Disbelief mixed with hopes it was true and that would get rid of this no talent person....
