Dang, they completely ramp up the dialidol site! It has all of these visual flash animated graphics now! I remember it was a piece of crap last year. He must of gotten some good money in the last year or so and took some class on Flash animation, lol!

Yep, it's pretty slick. If you hover your mouse over the graphs, it actually pops up some additional information. Also, he has all of these technical flow charts of how dialidol works, lol!

Yep Nick is one of the guys I like! My favorite is Blake, closely followed by Chris Richardson, and then I like Nick and Sanjaya. Nick did so-so and I guess Sanjaya did a little less than that, so we'll see.
I hope Nick goes farther. We need someone on that show to give New England a good name! haha
Oooo that would be cool if it were Lisa! I'm guessing it is since you heard it through the grapevine.

If I were still in the Recording business, at this point I would not record any of them. It was not a good start for this season. That said, I think Blake, Chris Sligh and the last fella were OK. Blake took a big risk(Sounding like a young Rod Stewart) and I think it worked. They really need to step it up for next week. I think the girls are going to out do the Boys. My fav girls Alaina, Antonella, Haley. The girls need to bring it tonight.

Blake and Chris Sligh were the only ones that really stood out to me as having any kind of future as a singer or entertainer.
I like Sanjaya before tonight, but he got off to a terrible start with his song and it sounded like he wasn't even singing the same song the band was playing.
Sundance's song was beyond pathetic.
The entire night was BORING!!!!
Interesting out of the THOUSANDS of people who auditioned that they didn't choose a single rocker or country singer??? Are they getting tired of being one of the top rated shows on TV?
I guess they are planning for a girl to win this year since a guy won last year.
Either that or ELEVATOR MUSIC is the theme for this year.

check out the super accuracy of Dial Idol this year.. according to them, the only person who DOESN'T stand a chance of being in the bottom 3 is Sundance... which makes no sense to me.

No one hit it out of the park for me, but ...
I thought Blake and Chris Sligh were the standouts, especially Blake. It may be just that I'm not big on pop, and neither did pop.
And I think their song choices were riskier and more compelling than the others'.
Blake showed me he can sing with emotion as well as beatbox. He obviously has some real charisma. There's some potential here, for sure.
Chris S. always surprises me a bit. I didn't expect him to do well on that song, so even though it wasn't a home run, I enjoyed it. He came close to crossing the line between being smart and funny, and being a smart aleck, though. That could get him into trouble. I still like him a lot though.
Phil Stacey and AJ were the best of the rest, especially if you throw out the beginning of Phil's performance.
Nick Pedro's song was really boring, but ... so were most of the others. He gets points though for coming across as a real and likeable person, so I would like to see him at least one more time.

But his performance was ... well ... I don't want to say it but it was ... awful.
