Carrie Looked upset....
carrie looked uspet when they showed her,when taylor won.she kinda looked like she wanted to cry

My fiancee thought she looked sad and/or upset, too...I thought she might have been thinking back to how she was announced as the winner last year...maybe they were happy tears, brought on by good memories. Or something. lol.

I had that look last year when she won and Bo didn't!
Was she really expecting Kat to win after her "debut single" flopped. Hello, it's going to be your signature release and you can't sing it in Key! While she was singing, there were a couple of crowd applauses, unlike Taylor's who had the crowd clapping and cheering the whole time...
I imagine Carrie was mostly bummed, because I am sure some of her appeal on any music market was that she was the American Idol, well, no longer, she will be out of the limelight in mainstream music now. Lucky she got her awards when she did. Case in point, Ruben Studdard (Grammy Nods), Fantasia, Clay...
The only one still making hits, is the original Kelly!

i think carrie is feeling the preasure from miranda lambert as well as what kellie might do. she should be happy with what she has and maybe try to write or sing more upbeat songs while she is still young! jmo.

It seems to me that she just may have been exhausted. She had just finished singing at two nationally widely viewed shows, the country music awards where she got two awards, and then Idol.
That would be very exhausting I think.
