I have to say...Kelly Clarkston is the best American Idol yet..she is the only one that people dont look at and think that she was on American Idol. She is definetly the best! Carrie Underwood is doing great too.

I agree. If it wasn't for american idol we wouldn't have found the talents of Kelly, Carrie, Clay, and of course our newest fresh talent of season 5 Kellie Pickler. We wouldn't have NEVER known who Kellie Pickler is if it wasn't that show. They ALL needed this show to have some type of career and bulid a fanbase! |

i agree breakaway is the best cd yet but it means break away from idol. kellie should use idol as long as she can.

The key is keeping your Idol fanbase after your debut CD comes out. Pretty much you are guaranteed of selling 2 million plus because of your TV fanbase, but what happens on your second album ? Will the Pop Audience still buy Carrie's second country album ?? They didn't stay with Ruben with his second Gospel CD (Which i heard is better than his first). Taylor I think is going to be ENORMOUS. I say this because Kids and Adults like him, which is rare.
Plus he has the coolest fanclub nickname, The "Soul Patrol!" |

Clay outsell Ruben (Like I predict after Ruben won) and I'm going to make another prediction. I predict no matter who the runner up is they will NEVER be as successful as Clay. I just don't see how it's possible!

no i definitely don't think a runner up will ever do as well as clay again. Idol will see to that. clay being that successful wasn't supposed to happen.
