I saw Prom Night today! OMG, it was soooo great! It's a thriller though! I really liked Danna(brittany Snow)! I alos thought Lisa(Dana Davis) and Ronnie (Collins Pennie) they were such a cute couple!


Here's what it's about:High school student Donna Keppel (Brittany Snow) loses her mom, dad, and brother at the hands of Richard Fenton (Johnathan Schaech), a teacher who had an obsession with her. Three years later, Donna, about to graduate and living with her aunt and uncle, undergoes therapy and takes pills to deal with the trauma. The action of the film takes place on the night of her senior prom, as Donna and her friends Lisa and Claire get their hair done in preparation and discuss their plans with their boyfriends, Bobby, Ronnie, and Michael.

Donna, Bobby (Scott Porter), Lisa (Dana Davis), Ronnie (Collins Pennie), Michael (Kelly Blatz) and Claire (Jessica Stroup) arrive at the prom — unaware that Fenton (who has just escaped from a maximum security prison) is there and plans to abduct Donna. Ronnie heads to the front desk and orders a room on the third floor; Fenton overhears the order and also gets a room on the third floor. Fenton heads up to his room and kills the hotel maid, gaining access to the hotel's universal key. Claire and Michael have a huge fight in which he assumes she will leave him when she goes to college. Crying, Claire goes up to Donna and says that she is mad at Michael, and has really bad cramps. Donna goes up to the room and gets pills for Claire, while Fenton is in the room. Then Claire heads back upstairs, where she takes the pills in the bathroom. After hearing something in the hall, she goes out and Fenton grabs her by the throat and stabs her. Due to a significant loss of blood, she dies shortly thereafter.

Winn and Nash find a dead body in the trunk of a car outside, but they have no proof that Fenton is the culprit. However, it is the man who Fenton placed his hotel reservation under. Alarmed, they increase their surveillance.

Michael heads up to the room to find Claire. Thinking she locked herself in the bathroom, he waits in the suite. However, Fenton leaves the bathroom and creeps around the room. Michael eventually finds him in the closet, where Fenton stabs him.

Lisa and Ronnie head up to the suite and Lisa sees Fenton in the elevator, but does not recognize him. She realizes his identity when she and Ronnie are having an intimate moment in the suite, and sprints downstairs to warn Donna. Ronnie is left confused and angry, as he was just about to propose to her.

Lisa runs to the elevator and when it doesn't open, she goes for the stairs. As she walks down the stairs her high heel breaks, causing her to fall down the steps. Fenton, at the top of the stairs, runs towards her. He stalks and chases her around the hotel, and eventually into an area of the hotel under construction. Ronnie comes down on the elevator and calls for Lisa, but she does not answer, knowing Fenton would attack Ronnie if she did. Failing to see Lisa hidden under a table to avoid Fenton, Ronnie rides the elevator down. When Lisa thinks Fenton has left, she gets up and starts running for Ronnie, who is only a floor below her. She heads to the elevator only to run into some paint cans. Fenton hears this and slashes her throat, leaving a strip of blood on the construction walls.

Fenton then kills Simms, the hotel doorman, who has been sent to find the hotel maid. Detective Winn heads up to the room and sees the maid's dead body. He rings the emergency alarm and evacuates the building, just before Ronnie and Lisa are to be announced as prom king and queen. Ronnie and Bobby head outside while Donna goes back upstairs to retrieve her mother's shawl that she left in the suite. Donna sees Fenton in the suite and runs closing the door on him. As Fenton breaks down the door, Donna runs, hiding under a bed — where she bumps into Claire's dead body. When Fenton is looking under another bed, Donna tries to escape and runs outside into Winn and Nash, who take her back outside after searching unsuccessfully, throughout the entire hotel, for Fenton.

Nash drives Donna and Bobby back to Donna's house. Winn searches the hotel, but finds no sign of Fenton, only Lisa's dead body. Winn tells Ronnie, Lisa is dead, and Ronnie is devastated. As the police men are still searching for Fenton, they find Simms', the hotel doorman, dead body and then Winn realizes Fenton had walked past him wearing Simms doorman uniform. He rushes back to Donna's house.

Back at Donna's house, Nash and another cop patrol the house while Donna and Bobby go to sleep. Nash looks through the bushes to find that Fenton had cut the phone line for no communication and contacts Winn to tell him he is somewhere in the house. When Winn reaches Donna's house, he arrives to find Nash dead in his car, throat slashed. Donna goes to the bathroom to take medicine to calm herself down and opens up her vanity mirror. After taking her medicine, she shuts her mirror to find Fenton standing behind her and he takes her by the head and smashes it in the mirror. Donna wakes up to find out it was just a bad dream, goes to the bathroom, repeating the events in her dream, and comes back only to find Bobby's throat slit. She then sees a strange shadow outside her bedroom door. Thinking it is Fenton, she runs into the closet, unaware that Fenton is actually in the closet. The shadow turns out to be Winn, and just as he walks into the room, Fenton grabs Donna from behind, saying, "Shhh. They'll hear us! Are you ready to run away with me?" and then kisses her on the top of her head. Just as Winn is about to check in the closet, Donna's aunt screams, frightened by the dead police officer in her driveway. Meanwhile, in the closet, Donna bites Fenton's hand and runs out, but she trips and falls. As Fenton is about to stab her, Winn runs in and shoots him. Donna watches Fenton getting shot above her and he falls, almost stabbing Donna in the chest as she rolled away from his falling. Donna cries over Bobby's dead body. Her aunt and uncle then come out and bring her out of the room along with Winn for her safety, as the screen pans away, the end credits roll.

I liked it but if you don't like thing that are slightly violent don't see it. It has great acting though. The Boyfriend/girlfriend are such cute couples in the movie! It's sad also though at the end. Some of my favorite characters die.
