Kellie Pickler Brings Home Three CMT Awards

The 2008 CMT Music Awards took place last night, and season five's lovable Idol Kellie Pickler won three awards! She won in the following categories:

CMT Music Awards Performance of the Year

"I Wonder"

CMT Music Awards Tearjerker Video of the Year

"I Wonder"

CMT Music Awards USA Weekend Breakthrough Video of the Year

"I Wonder"

The first two awards were presented prior to the telecast, but Kellie accepted the third award at the actual ceremony. When accepting the honor, she said, "Oh, my gosh. This is the first time I’ve ever won anything in my life. I’m so excited. I don’t know what to say. Thank you, American Idol. You are the rocket that launched my career."
