I'm a little confused about your post. However, the SoundScan numbers that come on on Wed of each week (I think they are available to insiders before then) are for the previous week's sales, through Sat I think (could be Sunday). So we would see any effect from the CMT awards or our purchases on the 15th in the numbers that will come out on April 23.
So both CMT awards and our purchase will effect the same sales week. If one wanted to separate them, we would have had to wait until the following week to do our "re-release" purchase.
I plan to buy another copy. However, with about 300 active posters here, I'm not sure how much effect we are going to have. On the other hand, there are always 7-10 times the number of active members on site at one time as guests (people who have not signed in or who are not registered). If we have persuded those people to buy another copy, we might see a nice bump in sales.
However, I wouldn't hold your breath.
