Kelliepickler.com Kellie Pickler will perform at the Grays Harbor County Fair Aug. 7.
Kellie Pickler, a country singer who finished sixth in the 2006 season of American Idol, will headline the entertainment acts at the Grays Harbor County Fair this summer.
Other artists at the fair include country artists Eric Church and Connie Smith.
Pickler is scheduled to perform at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 7. The $15 “Golden Circle” tickets limited to 500 seats are expected to go on sale in May. For everybody else, the concert is on a first-come first-serve basis.
Fair Director Debbie Adolphsen says she expects the Pickler concert to sell out.
County commissioners authorized Adolphsen to sign the contracts with the entertainers on Monday.
Pickler’s contract says the county will guarantee she makes $30,000 off the arrangement. That revenue comes from a mixture of ticket sales and ad sponsorships, Adolphsen said.
Church is slated to perform at 7:30 p.m., Wednesday Aug. 6. His contract guarantees him $15,000. Smith is on for the 7 p.m. Friday, Aug. 8 show. She’s guaranteed $7,500.
Both Church and Smith will have “Golden Circle” tickets available, as well.
Adolphsen said plans are in the works to bring Christian recording artist Warren Barfield and a bull-riding event to the fair, as well.
