My grandma's dog died :(

Well, it's been a very rough and emotional last couple of days for me, I need all the prayers I can get. Well it all started last weekend when we noticed Ginger (my grandma's dog) was breathing funny. My grandma took her to the humane society 1st thing Monday morning, where they diagnosed her with a slight respiratory infection. Well last night we noticed she hadn't been getting any better and had since stopped eating completely, looked terrible, and was being very quiet and lathargic, which is very unsual for her, so we took her to an emergency animal hospital, where they said she was suffering from diabetes, and pancreatitis, as well as Cushings Disease, which she had been diagnosed with a few weeks ago after putting on some weight and eating almost everything in site. Well the humane society that diagnosed the Cushings Disease didn't run the blood/urinary tests extensive enough and apparently failed to catch the diabetes we thought she had all along. So last night after I got off of work, we brought her in to an emergency animal hospital, and they said she had sugar, keytones, and acidic stuff in her urine and blood, so she was definitely diabetic, so they kept her for a few hours to try some treatments to make her feel better, but when we picked her up, she had only gotten weaker, and on the way to the 24 hour animal hospital, she died in the car, just sopped breathing and moving. As you can see it is a very upsetting time for us all, we've been crying all day, my mom took the day off of work today, and I asked to get off tomorrow because I was afraid I may not make it through tomorrow without crying or breaking down. It was so horrible, just to see her little lifeless body in the basket we had her in in the car, not to see her moving or breathing. So Ginger died this morning, in a lot of pain from the pancreatitis, but she never really showed she was in pain, and she was just too sick to save her, too many serious things wrong with her at the same time, the overnight animal hospital did what they could, but it was too late, she was just too sick, her body couldn't handle the anitibiotics she had been trying to take for her respiratory problems. What's also weird is that she had an ulcer on her gums, and her glands were very swollen and her throat was very red and bleeding for some reason nobody knows, this was something the humane society didn't check out as well when they should have Monday. Ginger was only 8 years old, too young to leave us so soon.
