I'm actually glad they Nashville Star is starting one week before AI. Usaully they start a week or 2 after, and really get the "diehards" who will stay up for it. Gonna be a great season. As to Miranda... she never won, she was 3rd runner up, in season one. Buddy Jewel won that one. Did well with 3 songs, but haven't heard from him since.
