My reivew: 9-23 tour at Bridgeport CT

My review of the idol tour September 23rd at Bridgeport CT……….. My friend picked me up before 12 noon in Staten Island NY…….. We proceeded to travel toward CT. according to map quest and other sources it would take us about 2 hours to get there. The concert wasn’t going to start til 7pm but I wanted to get there early hoping to catch Kellie, Kat and the rest of the finalist before the concert… WE did get caught up in traffic at the George Washington bridge and on the Connecticut turnpike but arrive at the arena at about 2:30pm.. We parked the car and walked to a small crowd of people standing outside of a barrier fence…. The small crowd made some noise and my friend said look its Ace ! But by the time I got my camera out it was too late and he went back inside the building.. We walked around to the right side of the Arena and found where the buses were. There was a fence and a barrier with another fence separating us and the buses. To make a long story short I waited for over 2 hours and the only clear picture I got was a picture of Bucky. The fence obstructed our view and none of the girls came out during that time. We didn’t know if they were inside the building or not. But needless to say I gave up and we went to get sometime to eat before the concert.. I was disappointed but there was nothing I could I do.. Once inside the Arena I bought a Kellie and Kat picture and a Kat poster. They didn’t have any Kellie’s posters, I also bough the booklet / program. My friend bought me an Idol tour shirt for my birthday and I also picked up an Air brushed Idol shirt from Someone outside , lol……. my seat were pretty good it was on the left side facing the stage…. I had my camera ready and extra batteries as we all waited for the concert to begin, so here is my review on a scale of 1 – 5 stars with 5 stars being the best! : ( I will not discuss every song as you all know they do the same for every concert)

Mandisa came out and did a great job on I’m Every Woman and looked great.. She sang 2 other songs and dedicated one of course Ruben and told us she had an eye on the bassist. Lol/ She sang a duet with Ace, And introduced him too. I give her a 4.
Ace sang his songs and one of them he tried to rock out. But it just didn’t work for me as his voice is just too soft and made for soft contemporary songs. I give him a 3
Next up was Lisa tucker…. I like her and enjoyed her piano /synthesizer playing, she was genuine and I give her a 4 plus…. She then introduces Paris and they did a duet together. Pairs then sang her signature song and ended with Crazy in love by Beyonce. To me it was sooo bad…… her outfit did not fit the song. She should of wore a different jacket and then take it off to display a hot top if she’s gonna try and shake her booty like Beyonce. She tried so hard and most of time she only sang like half of the lyrics as the background vocals (prerecorded) did most of the singing… I give her a 3
Then game Bucky. Let’s just say I just didn’t really get into him during his performances so I give him a 3 plus. His duet with Kellie was over shadowed to the fact that Kellie was too hot and too good for him, lol
Now my girl Kellie………. Wooooooooohoooooooooooo she worked that staged with all her 3 songs……. She thanked everyone for supporting her. She said she can’t believe that a year gone by that she went from a roller-skating waitress at Sonic to touring on Idol with a single on the radio.. She mentioned her single and told everyone the name and that her album is coming out too. She had on Red High Heels too.

She had on a jacket that she then took off for I’m the only one and had a nice sexy black top. She worked the crowd by telling the light guy to shine the light into the audiences she finished with walking after midnight and then ended the first half of the concert. She gets a 5 Intermission time
The second half was with Chris.. I have to say Chris did his thing and rocked it with all of his songs.… no more to say.. he deserve a 5 too.
Elliot came on with a duet with Chris and did what he does best. This guy can definitely sing. I give him a 4 plus. I think his appearance needs work so that his wardrobe fits his songs.
Next comes Kat………. She looked amazing and sounded just the same. Her personality was on point here, and she did connect with the crowd… she told us she had a head cold but she still sounded great….the crowd loved Kat and so did I . I give her a 5.
Last come Taylor doing jail house rock through the crowd…… I tell you he is fun to watch and is entertaining, but vocally he was straining most of the time and was out of breath. His songs were okay too. But I was disappointed with his vocals.. He gets a 4. I’m sorry but I expected more vocally.
They all came out with the guys first and then the girls and then all of them for the encore. That was nice to watch. , Kellie looked so cute as she had on sweat pants, lol

The artist with the most cheers was Kellie, Kat and Chris……. I was screaming for Kellie and Kat so loud that people around me was like damm, lol but I didn’t care.
I took pictures of all of them. But my camera sucks so they didn’t come out that good. I will post them here soon…… I must resize them, etc.

Now here is the bad part! On the way home …. My friend car broke down and we had to get a toll truck to toll us from NJ turnpike….. It cost us about $190.00.. By the time we got home we were exhausted.. But needless to say even though I met neither Kellie nor Kat .I had a good time.

yeah I waited so long. I was right in front too with my Camera ready but none of the girls came out, and no one told us anything......

but the concert was good!

Sorry about the car. But really that isn't too bad for a breakdown in a strange place. It could have been a lot worse.
