First of all, I would like to thank American Idol and the Top 10 on putting together an amazing concert! I LOVE it!
I wanted to go early to try to get an autograph and possibly a meet and greet, but unfortunately, I wasn't able to get either.
Anyway, we got to the concert at around 6:15 p.m. and I was surprisingly relieved that it wasn't a hassle and the line was short to get into the stadium.
As expected, everything in the concert was soooo expensive. A bottle of water cost $3.50 and a slice of pizza
cost $8 (are you kidd'n me?). No way, we're going to spend that kind of money on food, but ironically we bought the American
Idol Tour Book for $20, lol! Sorry, I couldn't resist! Kellie look sooo pretty in there
The concert didn't start till well after 7:30 although the start time was printed as 7:00 p.m. While we waited for the show to begin, they allowed us to send text messages to the
big concert screen above the stage and we did, haha. We text out "We love Kellie and Kat!".
Unfortunatly, I wasn't able to
get the full video of the concert. I only got audio and some videos of Kellie, in which I will upload a little later on.
All of the Idols performances were outstanding and they put one of best live show that I ever seen. I am a HUGE fan of
Kellie and enjoyed all of her performances otherwise I won't be on kelliefans.com, but even the Idols that I didn't
interest me on American Idol, I found myself enjoying listing to them live. For instance, I enjoyed the Mandisa and Ace duet, I thought it
was moving and emotional. Everytime I listen to it reminds me of the concert and how sad I felt when it was over
Some other note
worthy performances were Lisa and Chris. By now, everyone already knows that Lisa sang while playing the piano and I
thought she did great. Chris from tour to tour consitently got one of the loudness applause and now I understand why. He's so
comfortable with his voice and puts out very good, solid vocals.
Kellie looked So freaking HOT and SEXY in the red corset!!!!
I saw photos of her in it, but when you're actually there and witness it personally, it is a completely different experience! Even Kat couldn't
keep her hands off her. She was all over Kellie toward the end of concert (I will upload the video of them later as well of her in the red corset), lol.
Kellie randition of "I Am the Only One" was very good! I have no doubt that she will do well in her
singing career and can't wait for her Album! Also, I like how she acted naughty during her duet with Bucky, lol.
I can't believe how much better the Idols sound and look LIVE! None of the negative reviews made any sense to me. It seems
that they either never seen the concert, were closed minded or some have personal hatred. If you have the opportunity
to see the American Idol 2006 Concert, go! You won't regret it. Even if Kellie only sing a few songs and will have her own concert
in future, it's a chance in a lifetime to see the Idols singling along with each other and being relaxed and enjoying each others
company. That for me, is enough to make the concert a worthwhile experience.
