Kat well received in DC

Found this on the AI board. There had been a lot of talk on the boards about how Kat was going to be booed when she came back. I know she was worried about the reception, but sounds like the crowd really cheered her on. I am so glad for her. I hope her voice is fully recoved by Sunday when I see her in Greensboro.

OMG, she was SO cute! she did "Black horse and a cherry tree and Somewhere over the rainbow" and she said her doctor only said she could do two songs! but anyways - EVERYONE - even people who werent very fond of her were cheering, and she started crying. So, we started cheering even louder, and she said 'Thank you so much for welcoming me to my first concert" it was REALLLLY cute!

Hmm why wouldnt her voice be ok Robert, her illness didnt have anything to do with Vocals did it???

Guess you missed the Bronchitis problem along with laryngitis...It is something that has to heal itself along with antibiotics...No talking no nothing until it heals....

Wow Dale, thanks hun, guess I did miss that.....Im sorry hun.....I saw her on the View the other day, and now that you say that, she was not very talkative, I thought maybe she was nervous. So I guess all the crap that went around about a Eating Disorder was false then

The eating disorder was a whole different thing..She seems through therapy to have that under control...She came down with bronchitis which is a serious problem especially for a singer...

aww i'm glad for her. i really do hope she's there tuesday and i'm glad to hear she's better.although i'm not fond of what's been goin' on,i'm glad people welcomed her warmly. not exactly what i was expecting.

I found some vids of Katharine at the concert! She didn't get booed, but she didn't get the amount of applause the other idols got. Someone was screaming "TAYLOR" during her song.
