Yeah mine doesn't have the curves, but yours should have the blending options! If you click off to the right where it says "layers", and click on a layer, you should see "blending options" and it's got like "soft light", "screen", "overlay", that kind of stuff. Mine's got filters but not that many, and I rarely use the filters. I go more towards the blending options.

No those are blending modes. Like blending options is like setting cast shadows on fonts. I have to do that by myself and they don't come out that good. There's more but I don't really know them cause I don't have it. If I were to make another what kind of tut. would you like it to be?

I'd like to see more blending tutorials and some icon tutorials. I think I know how to do the shadow on the font. What I do is type what I wanna type, go to "layer styles" and it's got different things for different effects. That might not be what you meant but oh well.

Yeah that's also how you can make it. What I do is I write what I want and I duplicate the layer. I then movie the bottom layer over a little so it looks like a shadow. But you change the color to black and fade it out a little. I'll try to think of some blending things I could make.

I got the bundle of Photoshop Elements 5.0 and Premiere Elements 3.0, it should arrive in the mail sometime next week! I can't wait! I'm sick of all the tutorials being confusing because my Photoshop is so old nobody has tutorials for it lol!

A program that's free a few of my Carrie Fans friends use is Paint.net. It's supposed to be like a combo of Photoshop and Microsoft's Paint. You can get it at www.getpaint.net
I've got a question, I don't have a full version of Photshop CS2 yet, but I am planning on getting one. Since I don't have it I have been using the trial version for quite a while now. But it expired like 4 days ago, so I tried to redownload it, with a new e-mail, and name, and when it was finished downloading, I opened it up, and it said that this trial version has expired, but I just downloaded it! I'm not sure if you're only aloud to download one per computer or what, but if you could help that would be awesome, thanks! =]

I, too, tried that when my trial expired It's only one download per computer.. You'd have to get a new pc before you could download again
But, on the other hand, if you don't wanna spend $400+ on the full program, try the program Heidi was talking about. I'm the one that told her about it, and it's pretty awesome! It's pretty much exactly like photoshop, but with no soft brush. you just have to use a regular eraser. Also there are no brushes. Those are about the only differences. Some of the layer settings are different, though. Other than those 3 things, it's awesome

Jiffy's right about all that! I don't use Paint.net myself because I just bought Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0, but I know some people who use it (Paint.net) and really like it, Jiffy himself included!
