Kellie's sales on amazon.com went thru the roof after Wednesday night. For an hour or two on Thursday evening she had the biggest sales increase from the same time period the previous day of any artist they had listed. As of 6am CST Friday she is maintaining the same sales rate, in fact a little above. This is hard to explain and there's no way to figure her actual sales, but I do think there will be an incredible increase from the 2000 sold this past week.

I was thinking 10,000 earlier this evening, but believe it or not, I seriously think that could be an under-estimate. We still have a week-end ahead for people to go out and do their shopping.

Availability in stores is a big question now. I was at a Wal-mart that had 5 in stock and two Best Buy stores had 5 and 7. I hope most other stores have at least similar stock. When awards show like the CMA's come along, retailers do watch for occurences or sudden demand like this and frequently will stock a few extra pieces of the nominated artists titles, such as Kellie's.

My final estimate/guess is 12,017. I hope I'm not reaching too far with this.
